"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another" Ephesians 4:32
Hello beautiful brides
Yesterday was such a a wonderful day I was in such a peaceful state. My Love blessed me with money to buy the Children's picture Bible, I've been wanting one since I first read about it here at RMI. The kids were very excited to flip through and look at all the pictures, and there are so many Bible stories. Much more than their old Bible story book.
When it was time to go visit my In laws, which the Lord led me through in my own personal Johnathan experience, I put my trust in my love that he would be helping me throughout the visit. I was able to pick up my son, from his house and bring him with me.
When we got to my in laws, I could see my father-in-law's eyes fill up with tears. Now, he's a mans man, but seeing his grandchild for the first time, moved him and my mother-in-law. They both were very respectful of me and even asked me if it was okay that they tell the children that their names are Grandma, and grandpa. They didn't ask anything about my spouse which I am so grateful for, I don't want to discuss anything with them or anyone at this point. I always just say he's good and the Lord is doing a good work. But the whole evening was such a pleasure. The children got to play with their cousins, who are the same age as them, they've never met them but they all played so nicely together. No fussing only enjoyment.
My mother-in-law was putting together care packages for the cancer patients where my father-in-law goes to get his chemo treatments and we sat and filled the packages together while everyone visited and enjoyed one another. A lot of laughing and light heartedness.
My precious son, The 15-year-old came and sat by me and my mother-in-law and talked about all his plans for getting a car and his permit. Asking great questions and asked my opinion on so many different things.( It was overwhelming on the way home, I was so grateful.)
My father-in-law and my youngest son talked about monster trucks, since my father-in-law builds off road trucks for fun, it's his passion as well as both of my sons. It was such a blessing to see them sitting and talking about them for so long.
We ended up staying for over 4 hrs until it got so late I knew I needed to get all the kids home and into bed. I was able to pray with them before I left, since my father-in-law had chemo treatment the next day.
His voice was barely there, his hair has fallen out and he's lost 50+ pounds since I've seen him last. This is the fourth time the cancer has come back.
Oh, my mother-in-law also asked me if it was okay if she gave my number to the children's aunt, because she wanted to see the children so badly. It's been 4+ years since she has seen them. I was honored by the Lord, and knew that He alone was causing them to respect my privacy and my children.
Overall when I left, I felt the Lord's arms wrapped around me and was overwhelmed to tears about all He's done for me.
