Extended Protection

โ€œBring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,โ€ says the Lord of Heavenโ€™s Armies, โ€œI will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you wonโ€™t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!โ€ Malachi 3:10ย

I have been saying for a while that I am going to teach my son about tithing, and I finally did it and told him about the Lord's promise regarding tithing and how He blesses us with double. Well My Beloved helped me with that. Well, it turns out that I explained to him how much 10% is and how to calculate it because they had given him 20 dollars for his birthday and he calculated how much it was in our currency and he was enthusiastic about it. Then I told him, wait to see how God multiplies that for you now. I had no idea how the Lord would work but I was sure He would do something to strengthen our faith in that area.

The following week my niece comes and gives me 10 dollars, I tell her; And this? And she tells me that my sister sent that to my son for his late but sure birthday. And I thank you my Beloved for always answering me. So, when he arrives from band practice, I call him and tell him about his gift and I reminded him again of the Lord's promise when we tithe, but more so, because we are faithful to him, so he said I will get my tithe from this too (I already did it).

Bellas it is beautiful and I am excited to hear him say of his own free will to give the tithe because it belongs to the Lord and to be interested in fulfilling that principle to our Beloved. The teachings of our mothers stay with us, of that I am sure, I hear myself repeating phrases that my mother says without realizing it and she believes that we were not paying attention to her.

Being able to be at home to educate him is a great blessing because it allows us to teach him many things and especially about His Heavenly Father. Who not only gives back double in financial blessing, but in love and appreciation. The protection of tithing extends from us and our marriage to our family, and when we instil it in our children it extends beyond.

Let us not stop teaching them about the Love and protection of our Beloved in His life.
โ€œTrain up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.โ€ Proverbs 22:6
