โThe LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He grants the desire of those who fear Him. He hears their cry and saves them.โ S1451819
A few weeks ago I went out to buy some things for the office with the pastor. They were for some baskets that are given to the older people in the church. Well, on that trip I wasnโt thinking of buying anything personal, but I had been saying for days that I would buy a basket for my childโs room, but I couldnโt find one that fit where I wanted it, and that day I found one at a reasonable price. Well, to my surprise, when it was time to pay, I paid for the office stuff and was trying to get the difference out of my wallet to pay for my own when the owner told me in Chinese and with sign language, because I donโt understand Mandarin, that it was fine with what I had already paid. I told him in Spanish, โWait, I still owe you some!โ and the pastor said, โIt seems like heโs giving it to you as a gift.โ and I smiled because I know it was from Him.
It was His gift to me, He is like that just when we think that He has forgotten or is not listening to us, He sends us signs reminding us that He is there at every step, every stage and that even though sometimes we do not notice it, He never abandons us and always knows how to surprise us in a way that we know that it was Him.
โThe LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth. He grants the desire of those who fear him. He hears their cry and saves them.โPsalm 14518-19
My dear Jewel, itโs always so moving to see how perfectly He does things. He cares about our well-being, and all praise belongs to Him.
Yesterday, while the boys were playing in their room, the noise became unbearable. Twice, I asked them to calm down, but nothing changed. Finally, I said to myself: “Let’s go see my Love…” So, I went into my room and said to Him: “Love, I want some peace.”
When I stepped out, everything was quiet. Only my eldest son remained, playing peacefully.
