Major Disappointment = Major Blessing!!

♕ Today's Promise:  “I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.” John 14:18

Dear Brides, are you going through something difficult, a major trial? Are you praying but you cannot understand why the Lord is even allowing it to happen to you? I know there was a time not so long ago when I did! Then you have got to read this Chapter 8 "You’re Being Set-Up" !!!

Reading this Chapter has given me soooo much comfort and a better understanding of how the Lord who set me up for a major disappointment, turned it around for not just my good but the good of my entire family!

To give a quick rundown, my husband had made a decision to relocate to another city but at that time I had no idea that He had become involved with a colleague in his Department, we all worked for the same company and there were many rumors flying around but I chose to believe him according to the word and all that I had learned here. A year later after relocating was when I found out that my EH whom I had re-married had cheated on me again, of course I was soooo devastated and ran to my Heavenly Love for HIS love & comfort.

The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these. —Isaiah 45:7

Now that I have explained what had happened it has been over half a year down the line and looking back I realise that everything I went through was a SET UP to usher me into Living the Abundant Life!!!

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Thank You Lord!!

We must not be surprised when we are faced with trials and its so true because I have heard it said many times that when we become children of God it doesn't mean we no longer have trials. What has been great for me reading this Chapter 8 "You’re Being Set-Up" is that it goes deeper and gives you a better understanding of why God allows it.

I was also very excited to read that what Michelle wrote, she says: "Being set-up, as you know by now, first appears as something bad, when in fact, it will result in the opposite conclusion—we are actually being set-up by God—in order to be blessed!"

And wow looking back I can CLEARLY SEE!!

My MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT was a set up for a MAJOR BLESSING!! We relocated, my EH was blessed with a better paying job and I became a Worker@Home!! I am reaping the blessing every single day by being at home with my kids, doing ministry work, not having to rush to work every day, having time with my Heavenly Love and I could go on & on...

Now that I have been home for almost 2 yrs... wow... I cannot believe that soon I will celebrate being home for 2 yrs :)) my EH does not want me going back to work! Many times we have discussed how me being at home has saved us so much money and how it has allowed us to live a stress-free life as a family!

I will be living out this principle by knowing that a MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT = MAJOR BLESSING!! And By telling others to LOOK for the blessing and know when they are experiencing it that the tides will turn.

“Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed . . . He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them” (Psalms 2:1–4).

My Love, thank you once again for making things so clear to me. Thank you for what I went through and using it to bring me to this ministry where I have learned so much. My Love, forgive me because at the time when I was experiencing the hurt and pain when I found out about my EH's infidelity I felt disappointed in You because I believed that once you had restored that I would never have to go through infidelity again... Thank you for your truth that sets us free!

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing; so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation” (1 Peter 4:12).
