My dears ladies and friends, for a long time I don’t write an English PR. After Portuguese Ministry, I always wrote Portuguese PR, maybe one or another in English. It’s so much easier for me! 🙂 But today I sensed My Lovely Husband showing me why not write English PR if I’m both fed with English and Portuguese Ministries. And, with kindness, He gave me this verse:
How long will you lie down, O lazy one? When will you arise from your sleep [and learn self-discipline]? “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to lie down and rest” Psalms 6:9-10
Yes, ladies, I was not writing English PR because I was lazy! Sorry for that! I want to ask you for forgiveness and ask My Love for forgiving me too. And I want to thank each one of you who write your PR and share with us how lovely, wonderful and great is our Lord and Savior. We are here to honor Him and to glorify His Name.
So, let’s go with my PR 🙂
I want to thank RMI for teaching me the importance of writing our PR. I have all my PRs since I found RMI in 2013. And sometimes I reread one or another. It is so nice and comforts me, teaches me, renews my mind over and over again… Today I read some PR I wrote on 2013, one year after my EH left me. 2013 was the year I really let go my marriage and my husband. It was when he went to the USA. It was the year the Lord became my Husband and I learnt to trust Him my life, my dreams, my problems...everything! And it was all because God guided me to RMI when I was heartbroken. Praise Him because when we are heartbroken He rescue us and mold us to be the person He wants us to be!
Nowadays I know it was all necessary for me to become strong, calm and know Him as my Savior, my Love, my Shepherd, my Fortress. Only after my desert, I realized God has all the control and He is with me, loving me and taking care of me.
These truths helped me to face my dad’s death (2015) and take care of my mommy. Both cases I was calm and with an unshakable faith because my Lovely Holy Spirit lives in me. This week I took my mommy to the doctor and it’s is confirmed she maybe can develop Alzheimer. Since my daddy’s death, she forgets many things and she was in depression. But I always surrender these to my Lovely Husband because I know He can do the impossible. I don’t cry or murmur, I only praise Him and trust Him. I’m not afraid about my mommy’s future and I praise Him because I know one of the reasons He took away my EH is to give me much time to take care of her.
So dears let’s praise Him because He knows what is better for us and what is necessary to mold and transform us to become the ladies He wants us to be. Let’s SELAH on these verses:
“I love You [fervently and devotedly], O Lord, my strength.” The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; And I am saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3 NIV
How long will you lie down, O lazy one? When will you arise from your sleep [and learn self-discipline]? “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to lie down and rest” Psalms 6:9-10 NIV
In my distress [when I seemed surrounded] I called upon the Lord. And cried to my God for help;
He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry for help came before Him, into His very ears. Then the earth shook and quaked, The foundations of the mountains trembled; They were shaken because He was indignant and angry. Psalms 18:6-7 NIV
The Lord lives, blessed be my rock; And may the God of my salvation be exalted, The God who avenges me, And subdues peoples (nations) under me. He rescues me from my enemies; Yes, You lift me up above those who rise up against me; You deliver me from the man of violence. Therefore will I give thanks and praise You, O Lord, among the nations, And sing praises to Your name. He gives great triumphs to His king, And shows steadfast love and mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forever. Psalms 18: 46-50 NIV
Do you want to PRAISE Him for how He's designed you to be here for another reason in order to be closer to Him? Aren't you thankful that Valentina is back and took the time to share her PRAISE in English as an Encouraging Woman?
Remember, Matthew 7:13-14 tells us to “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.”
And Psalm 100:4 tells us HOW to Enter— “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.”
Be sure to submit a Praise Report today and enter through that narrow gate few ever find!
