🌷 My dear brides,
This morning, I want to share something I once carried in my heart.
My eldest son, who is very quiet and reserved, never spoke while my marriage was falling apart. He was just a spectator, yet he remained silent. As a mother, I wanted to protect him, to comfort him, to reach out — but that was what I wanted, not what our beloved Heavenly Husband wanted.
When I read the article “The Best Protector,” I understood something deep:
It was not my role to restore the relationship between father and son, no matter what we were going through. So I let go.
I surrendered my plans, my mama instincts, and made space for our Husband to take care of him.
And today, I saw the fruit of that surrender.
Our Heavenly Husband allowed something so simple… and yet so beautiful to happen:
Father and son worked together in the garden.
My eldest never used to do that.
Usually, after breakfast, he would grumble and disappear.
But this time, he got up on his own — and went to help his father.
Isn’t it wonderful what our Heavenly Husband can do when we also let go of our children?
He moves in ways we never could.
He restores, gently and perfectly.
We only need to trust Him.
This was so needed I had so many thoughts on my mind about my son and his dad. About reuniting them but I have asked my HH to open doors and bring them together to develop that relationship that pur son is looking to have.
It is wonderful to see how HH works in our favor and is always ready to help us when we put our children in his hands.
