"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." E3626
Dear Brides, lately I have been praying for a cheerful heart. Why? "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Proverbs 17:22
I used to be a bright person because I loved to smile and laugh. I almost could not recognize myself last year when the crisis started - weighed down by sorrow and pain. I actually started praying for joy and happiness before I found Him to my HH and no surprise, to no avail. The "joy and happiness" I was praying for was based on worldly things that pass like a wind. How could they bring me any lasting effect?
Can I say I already feel lightened up with a cheerful heart because He answered? "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36:26
Oh He NEVER disappoints. I begin to laugh more, tease my children more (in a joyful way), feel like my authentic self, basically do everything with a cheerful heart, and can I tell you how much that helps me feel so content in Him alone. "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:29-30
Dear brides, "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." Psalm 55:22 If you need help from Him, stop thinking and start PRAYING now.
Aww Goia I absolutely loved this post. Thanks for inspiring me to do the same. Why is it that when certain things happen we succumb to our circumstances instead of relying on His Word and asking our Heavenly Love what we should do…I allready feel soo much better.
Dear Denise, thank you for letting me know my praise is encouraging! We can all rejoice in Him no matter what circumstances we are in 🙂
Thank you for sharing. This too also inspired me. 🩷
Dear Elda, thank you for letting me know 🙂
I am so happy to hear that you have found joy and happiness. It is great that He has answered your prayers and given you a new heart. I am also glad to hear that you are able to laugh and enjoy life again but with your HH.
Dear Hope, oh yes! And I know this time the joy and happiness is everlasting because He is the source.
Thank you for this beautiful praise Gioia, I just love how we can ask our Darling Lord anything. I am moving next week and I didn’t feel cheerful at all and I can give so many reasons why I don’t want to move but I trust my Darling Husband and He has a much bigger reason for allowing this and I too asked Him now for a cheerful heart now in midst of my circumstances.
Dear Janine, I am so excited for you! Moving can be hectic but when we put our trust in Him, “He will make straight your paths”. I will be praying for you 🙂
Thank you so much Gioia, as long as I am with my Darling Husband next to me, I can have a cheerful heart.
Oh wow thank you Gioia!! You have spoken to my heart with this praise because its exactly how l feel and what l am trusting for. The joy of the Lord is our strength!!! 🙌😊💕😍
Dear Atarah, yes He is! “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” Psalm 28:7
Dear Eli, you are very welcome! “Ask, and you shall receive”. May the Lord bless you also with a joyful heart 😊
