β Today's Promise: βFor thou hast tested us, O God, and refined us, as silver is refined; Thou hast brought us into the net, bound us round our hips; Thou hast made men ride over our heads, we have passed through fire and through water; but Thou broughtest us forth in abundance.β Psalm 66:10-12

Dear Bride, the love expressions of my loving Beloved are wonderful to experience. How beautiful it is to have a Man who knows exactly what you need to hear and know, to get closer to His heart. The morning hours in silence when everything is still at rest, are the most beautiful to get up with Him. This past weekend I had a wonderful time with Him and my children. From the morning glory to the evening. First, He made the sun rise beautifully. It is wonderful to read the daily devotional and praise reports of brides. It's nice to read the Marriage Restoration Testimony on Saturday morning after the dedication. I've been looking forward to it recently, and I want to give my Lord the praise for it, every week. And what's important is that I learn something from the testimony every time.
In the beginning of my journey I was not very interested in the marriage testimonies. The stories were beautiful, but I did not have the desire and curiosity about how exactly and with what principles from the books A Wise Woman and How God Can And Will Restore Your Marriage, have restored their marriage. Gradually I noticed that my interest grew. The testimonies are beautiful encouragements to show that nothing is impossible for our God to restore. I have not yet read a marriage testimonial where the bride has had a similar married life to me. It is not necessary. I learn a lot from the testimonials that I have all read. As He has, by reading these testimonies, instilled in me even more the desire in my heart for more of His Word.
Recently I have also been able to arrange all my valuable 3x5 cards in different categories. Because in addition to the beautiful promises (encouraging) and expressions of love, I was also allowed to make the rubrics such as teachings and commandments. In addition, He also taught me to really discover the deeper meaning of a verse. If you meditate on a verse and read it aloud over and over again, you will not only understand it with your mind but also feel in your heart the peace and security of the verse. When I think back to those beautiful moments of discoveries, I swoon. I get tears in my eyes. Tears of happiness and joy. His Word is certainly healing. For all the emotional damage I have.
I cried a few weeks ago. I just couldn't understand why it is necessary to go through one annoying situation after another. It didn't stop. I have had conflicts at work, with my children, even with my former husband. Or experienced situations that I would rather not have heard or seen. I really thought I was much further along in my journey. And I must confess that I have had moments when I thought that my Lord was not pleased with me or loved me at all. That after making the same mistake several times, I will never change. Until I read Psalm 66:10-12. Which was very liberating and welcome. My God allows me to pass through the fire. My Heavenly Husband walks with me as I pass through the fire. He holds my hand. And my God, He makes sure that after the crisis in which I was allowed to learn His Truth, in which He made me even more beautiful, I will be well again. Every trial is for purification of His brides. Now I understand even better why I can be happy with difficulties. And certainly with the trials I experience within my family. For we are, after all, called to be a Wise Woman, the first in our family.
Dear bride, sometimes it seems unfair what we are going through. And do you think other people are going through less worse situations? Our God and Heavenly Husband will make sure that whatever happens will be for your good. Don't try to understand why something happened. For by His protecting love you will not succumb.
I started my praise report by saying that I had a wonderful weekend with Him and my children. Because after a few restless weeks, He let me enjoy a lot of sunshine for 2 days in front of my children.
βFor thou hast tested us, O God, and refined us, as silver is refined; Thou hast brought us into the net, bound us round our hips; Thou hast made men ride over our heads, we have passed through fire and through water; but Thou broughtest us forth in abundance.β Psalm 66:10-12
* After the trial is over, He is faithful to let me rest in the renewed truth I have learned. Rest and peace.
Those who sow with tears shall reap with joy.β Psalm 126:5
* After the ordeal there is cheering. My faith, trust and love in and for my Lord has deepened even more.
