Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty. And to this I would like to add: the wonderful assurance that if trials come our way, then we get the opportunity to trust the Lord. M3:1012

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful testimony on tithing. I always say when it comes to tithing that I started to give because I was desperate to restore my marriage, but in that desperation, even with my motives that may not have been as pure as just giving, I can say that He gave me the peace I never knew was possible in the situation I was going through. I did not suddenly have more money, because He still tested me to make sure that I would start giving, just because He wants me to and for no other reason. Things still went rough financially for a few months after I started tithing, but I cannot explain to you the faith I had in that time that He will provide and He did! It is a time I look back on now with fondness because it was the time I got to know Him as my Husband. He took the time that I should look back on as a time of hurt and despair and turned it into fond memories with Him. ❤️
