Unexpectedly we had to travel to our country due to the death of my husband's great-grandmother whom he appreciated very much. For this reason, the entire family would meet again after three years of discord, because when the grandfather (son of the great-grandmother who passed away) died three years ago, all the children fought for reasons related to the inheritance that corresponded to them. Since then they were divided into factions.
On the day of the funeral we arrived very early, my mother-in-law, her husband, and children, one of his brothers with his wife and children, his younger sister, and a cousin of theirs who is very close to all of us who suggested that we say a prayer, my mother-in-law He asked me to lead the prayer, so I asked my Beloved and the Holy Spirit to guide me to pray as it should. When we opened my mouth, words of gratitude and a message of encouragement for the family flowed to lead them to forgiveness and family reconciliation, which surprised me because I knew of my mother-in-law's feelings towards her family (the other siblings who were not there in prayer ) she was very reluctant to forgive quickly. However, I am convinced that it was the Holy Spirit who spoke.
Once the prayer was finished, my mother-in-law's sister apologized to everyone for her way of acting because she offended my mother-in-law and her brother in various ways, they responded with love and forgiveness, and just at that moment, the other brothers arrived. , whom my mother-in-law's older brother (who prayed with us) gathered to ask for forgiveness and encourage reconciliation and family unity. Wonderfully everyone had a heart ready to forgive and ask for forgiveness, I was very happy to see the work of my Beloved!! I praise my Heavenly Husband because I felt "empowered" to talk about forgiveness, thanks to Him I have been able to forgive others, only by his grace. That reminds me that only HE can do this work among us, it is his will that we walk in love and unity because he is peace and love.
I am a lover of Peace, so when there are disagreements or discord I feel very uncomfortable and sad, to see that we all came back together as we used to, it was very special! Only He deserves praise for family reconciliation.
