I want to praise my HH. He has been speaking to me and answering me. We had an ugly thunderstorm this past weekend. I was looking for a lantern that we have but I couldn't find it. One of my children piped up and said, "Daddy, must have took it with him when he left." I already had a difficult day because the enemy had been attacking me. This was just the icing on the cake.
Praise God my phone was dead and the electricity was out so I could not act on my emotions towards my Ex. I prayed and prayed during the storm crying out to my HH to forgive me. Forgive me for making false accusations towards my Ex, for my actions, for the thoughts I was having. The thoughts that my ex should be with me and my children during the storm.
My HH is so amazing. He gave me peace and forgiveness. He even answered me without even asking Him to. Once the electricity was restored I charged my phone. When I turned on my phone my text messages began to come through. One of them was from my ex asking me if we were okay. Praise God!!!! I know it was Him who softened his heart. He Who placed it in his heart to ask. My HH gave me comfort and showed me that even though my ex has not contacted me or asked about our children He is working on him. He is working behind the scenes. I must not allow impatientness or despair to creep in, but I must trust my HH.
