This testimony is about the way that God speaks to us through signs and other people. During this week I took a trip into town which I do by bus. When I had finished the business in town, I saw that it would be a 45-minute wait for the next bus so I decided to take a minibus taxi. The taxi I used is one that goes directly onto the freeway. Only this time it took a right turn going into town. I could not understand as this trip does not drop off or pick up anyone in town. I dropped my head in exasperation as I wanted to get home as soon as I could. When I looked up again in the middle of town there was another minivan taxi with the slogan “Nothing is Impossible with God” written all over the rear window right in front of us. Tears filled my eyes as I knew God was speaking to me.
After I got out of the taxi I headed for the local beauty salon to have my eyebrows done. I started talking to a lady that I had never met before and the conversation turned to the men in our lives. She told me that she had been divorced for 5 years and that she had a 5-year-old daughter that her ex-husband does not have a relationship with. He had left her for another woman and was only married a year and got divorced. She had received a text from him telling her that she was a wonderful woman and that he should never have divorced her. Then I shared about my life and what my HH has done for me.
The point I am making here is that no matter what the circumstances may look like. God can and will do the impossible, but only if we trust Him completely and do not try to do things in our own strength. Do not birth an Ishmael like I recently did. I am thankful that God drew me out of the situation I was not meant to be in. My flesh was kicking and screaming, but God had started something and He was going to finish it. Don’t give up and don’t give in especially to something that is counterfeit.
