โ Today's Promise: โIf you will follow my decrees, obey my commandments and put them into practice, I will send you rain in the right season, and the land will yield its harvest and the trees of the field will yield its fruit.โ Leviticus 26:3- 4

I've always been enchanted by crochet, since I was a girl I've always had a dream to learn how to crochet. When I saw the exquisite pieces made by the โgrandmothersโ, I was admiring like someone who admires a work of art and I wondered, how could someone manage, with just a needle and a ball of thread, to make such a perfect intertwining of threads.
My aunt did so beautifully and I was delighted how she graced her kitchen towels, her colorful boxes with many wool tubes makes me so stunned. Her ability to make so many decorative pieces, as many quilts, pillows, and rugs were born from her hands so blessed. She told me that in her time as a girl, most women of her generation made their own trousseau before getting married. Crochet was more affordable and popular.
I confess that I've always had a lot of admiration, I find it so romantic to produce with your own hands, whether it's the baby's shoes or a bathroom mat. I had been admiring a crochet place mat for my table for some time now, in addition to keeping the table clean would help protect it, adding extra charm by decorating the set table, making it more elegant and making the meals even more enchanting.
I wanted to do it with my hands but I had tried crochet a long time ago but I didn't have the patience, it was too much work and time I insisted on doing it but I gave upโฆ I tried, stopped, tried, stopped, over and over again, until I was totally discouraged. I felt tense, my hands ached and I didn't understand the logic of the stitches, it was too difficult for me. I always saw my friends crochet anytime, anywhere, so lightly and deliciously, but with me it was so complicated and learning just at this point in my life would encounter even more difficulties.
When I understood that we must take all situations to God and listen to His sweet voice to guide us and let Him teach us because for Him nothing is impossible, that's when everything started to happen so beautifully. This time I tried again, everything was so different because now I'm His bride. I rested and trusted completely and believed that my crochet would be done by His hands holding mine. That I would let Him hold the needle and from that day forward it would make all the difference in the final result.
The day I understood that only He can teach me all things, I started to have the patience to do it and so many other things (my difficulty was exactly that, lack of patience, supporting my own understanding, doing it my way ); the day I started asking Him to teach me everything, He started teaching me everything in such a light and easy way and everything changed!
He guided me to go to a trim store here in town, we bought the yellow and brown thread and needle. I wanted to do some spins to set up my happy and colorful table (laughs). I have a friend who has been crocheting since she was 8 years old. She came to show me how to assemble the layout of the pieces, a few hours of tips was enough for everything to take shape and turn into a beautiful work of art. She told me that it looked like I had known how to do it for a while and that she didn't believe I had had difficulty in the past.
Today is a happy day for me. I feel radiant. We already have plans to produce other pieces together. This is so amazing!! Celebrate with me dears! Glad we have a HH (Heavenly Husband) who makes our wishes so special! Yes dears!! He cares about the desires of our hearts, it's worth entrusting the results to Him, only when we believe anything can happen!
If you have a desire to learn something but have encountered some difficulty, take your desire before Him, ask Him to teach you. I guarantee you will be so excited by the results that you will count and dance with Him and for Him.
โIf you will follow my decrees, obey my commandments and put them into practice, I will send you rain in the right season, and the land will yield its harvest and the trees of the field will yield its fruit.โ Leviticus 26:3- 4
