But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Dear Brides,
I'm currently reading the Life Lessons series. Yesterday it was Life Lesson 14's turn. This chapter touches my heart because it contains such a wonderful promise in which we can read how great and unconditional His love is for us. That's why I would like to share it with you.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins. Isaiah 40:5
This text contains such great promise. He promises that you will receive double blessings for all your sins. If you are currently experiencing a struggle in your life. Then you can hold on to this text. Your struggle is going to end one day and all your sins and pain will be taken away and you will receive a double blessing from Him. As long as you go to Him with all your pain, sorrow and struggle.
There is hope for you, me and all the people around us who live partially or completely in sin. For He died for us while we were still sinners. Just then He wanted to die on the cross because He was filled with love for us.
Dear Brides, as I have come to know Him as my Heavenly Husband, I have experienced how wonderful it is to receive the double blessings. If you're still struggling with guilt and shame over your broken marriage, it means it's time to give everything to Him. Concentrate on receiving the double blessing He wants to give you through His death. This is how you will experience abundant life with Him.
Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: Exodus 14:13
Dear Hanna, thank you for sharing this lesson and the promise that we can hold on to.
I also used to struggle with guilt and shame because of the divorce and my hand in the destruction. But when I got to know my Heavenly Husband, and gave it all to Him, He took it all away, healed me and gave me a new life with Him, the Abundant Life. No, it is not a life without trails, but it is a life I can do with my Beloved, a life filled with joy and peace no matter what my circumstances are, knowing He is with me.
Thanks for sharing. The promise of double blessings for our sins is a testament to His unconditional love and compassion. I’m so grateful for this reminder that we can always turn to Him for comfort and support, no matter how difficult life may seem. 💕
