Dear Brides, By the time you get to this stage of the journey, Chapter 6 “They Don’t Have It“, you will not care how long it will take for you to get to restoration. Why, because you’ll be having so much fun getting to know your HH, He satisfies the soul more than you can ever imagine.
Stop trying to get satisfaction or recompense from the source of your troubles; they do not have it. Instead, turn to the Lord who is the ultimate source for all we need. Our Father has an endless source of every resource that we need and want—available to us—when we simply look to Him alone!! The source of our love never ends. And He’s calling me to be His bride, not His wife.
This is poignant in its timing. My EH is now chasing me to work out the Divorce that I withdrew from and denied him the pleasure of the battle. He hoped I would withdraw and now that I have he has lost his peace. How does he lose peace when I’ve given him what he wanted by surrendering the Divorce to however he wants to work it out? He should enjoy this moment, But God… My source is God almighty, man can give me nothing that he himself did not get from God already anyway.
My source is my Father and He has been good and faithful. I am covered in every which way and my soul is overjoyed. I am complete, and loved, secure and happy. I have met my Savior, my Lord, my Husband and the lover of my soul, I want for nothing. I am hemmed in and cared for in every imaginable way.
That’s when the tide turned back and the pain left my heart, piercing his (EH). There is no need to run after a man to supply anything for us or to protect us. And not only will our needs be met beyond what we could hope, ask, or even think, all of it will come without pain or shame or regrets. I have no real struggles as I have turned my life over to the Lord in total surrender. My heart is overjoyed and my spirit is quieted within me. I am just, so happy and peaceful.
God has everything; man has nothing except what God gives him. While God uses people to bless us, it is still He who orchestrates it. ‘Like most of you, it was only when I lost everything that I found what I really and truly needed, which was a Savior, and then later when He became my Lord, then even later my Beloved. I will continue to seek my Beloved. Last night when I came home from being away for weeks, I got in bed with my Savior to comfort me. It didn’t feel lonely, just comfortable as I invited Him to hold me in His arms. I had a good rest and woke up peaceful and refreshed. My God has me completed. Covered. Secured. Joyful. Hemmed in, pinned. I don’t quite know how to express it fully. I am overwhelmed by His love and care for me. Exchanging my heavy burden for His light yoke has been an advantageous trade to me and that has greatly blessed me.
Let’s pray, and feel free to pour out what is in your heart: Papa, I pray for wisdom in how to be. It seems you are now turning my EH back to me as he knocked on my door today though I did not open. When he calls or comes again today, give me wisdom in all I speak. Let your radiance shine on my face and voice. Let me radiate your love and joy. Let EH be convicted without a word if this is your timing. Thank you for giving me the patience to submit my timing to you. Reign and have full range, be the author of our story as you’d have it, not a moment too soon, not a moment too late. But your perfect timing and your perfect plan.
“Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs. For I, the LORD, love justice…and I will faithfully give them their recompense” (Isaiah 61:7–8)
God is a God of restoration, first to himself then to others, then to our stolen lives, he restores in double portion so the glory of the latter house is greater than the former. All praise and glory to His name forever and ever. Amen.
Dear Brides, You will soon learn in Chapter 6 “They Don’t Have It” that God is your source for everything you could ever need in your life. He is enough and complete, and well-able to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.
I would not have made it without these books to encourage me. When I finished one and was in between books, I seem to have fallen away and doubt consumed me, darkness following not too far behind. Stay in the light by constantly feeding your spirit with the word of God that is well-articulated in this book.
