Dear Bride, I hope this chapter will encourage you as well as me not to expect anything from others but from the Lord. He has everything you need and want.
We are not to expect compensation or reward for losses, difficulties from others (those at fault), but from the Lord. The people of the world are bankrupt in every sense of the word. They and, unfortunately, many Christians lack compassion, love, being kind, and everyone has limited possibilities, and we often, in our stupidity, turn to them with our needs. By expecting what we need, what we deserve, or what we want from others, we often find ourselves in even greater need when they fail to fulfill what we are looking for in them and we become selfish and stingy. Many Christians have the problem that they have a lot to say, but often this is not confirmed by their behavior or how they deal with crises. We behave like Pharisees and do not testify well of the faith. Only love from the Lord, the source of endless love, has no unwanted or painful side effects.
Don't ask your husband for anything. Certain recurring problems in our lives can end when it no longer affects us and makes us frustrated or angry.
The Lord has everything we need and want, focusing on Him will not lack anything. He even gives us more as His Bride, so we shouldn't look for anything from others. Instead, we should give others that excess. Saying that the Lord is all we want and want to support is also supported by our actions and reactions. So is believing that the Lord will supply all our needs.
Dear Bride, in this chapter I have learned to expect compensation and all I need from the Lord and not from others. By turning to Him with my desires and needs, as His Bride, I will also be able to give others an excess of blessings.
