Dear Brides, In this Chapter 6 “That Amazing Grace“, you will learn about how His grace is more than enough to keep you in any situation. Especially extremely difficult trials and situations where you feel like you are in a pressure cooker needing to let off some steam!
My Beloved has taught me so much about keeping my life private. I have learned that there is no need to share personal information with others, not even close family members or even my mum or sisters. He has shown me over a period of time as the years have gone by that He really is ALL I need and that He is MORE than enough!
But sadly this was not always the case for me either. Like the writer says when we are going through very tense and difficult situations our human nature wants to let it all out and in order to feel better we lash out or speak about it to anyone that will listen, looking for answers, and the results of it are never good.
His Amazing Grace has kept me through so many difficult situations and trials I have gone through. I learned more and more over time to speak to my Love and to share with Him how I feel rather than to other people. I got better and better at running to Him!
A while back I felt so much like the pressure cooker situation the writer describes in Chapter 6 “That Amazing Grace“. It was from the hurt, questions I had, and the brokenness I was feeling and I was trying to let off steam by seeking answers to my hurt from the wrong source. I now know that seeking answers from anyone other than my HH will always backfire on me leaving me more hurt because that is what happened.
Eventually, after some time He led me to read something on forgiveness. I knew that I needed to forgive but and I thought that I had but something about what I read leaped out at me. Well, I HAD made up my mind to be obedient and forgive, I knew that I had to, but due to my thoughts and the way I felt whenever I thought about that person I knew that I had not forgiven… I read that I can ask my HH to do the “hard part” that is the “heart part”.
Today I am so thankful because His amazing grace truly kept me. I was able to go to Him, sit quietly and speak with Him about how I felt and every time I did that I felt so much better!! Lighter and freer :))
I will be living this principle by remembering that His Amazing Grace is more than enough. His grace allows me to go into my room, shut the door sit down on my bed and speak to Him about anything and everything that I am going through, especially when it is a difficult situation.
With others, it will be to encourage them to also take every problem and concern to Him. To share it with the Only One who can truly make a difference. To remind them about His grace that is more than enough.
Let us pray, speaking to our Heavenly Love knowing that He is the ONLY one that is truly able. My Love. Thank you for your Amazing Grace. If it wasn’t for your grace I don’t know where I would be today. It is only through your grace that I am who I am today. It is only by your grace that I am able to live a life of such peace, filled with your loving-kindness. I want to have a deeper and more intimate relationship with you. I want to walk in your purpose and plans for my life. I want to lay down every desire I have for your desire and purpose for my life. Forgive me for the times that I tried to fix things on my own by not coming to You my Love. For the times I tried to do things in my own strength forgetting that your word says: “For the Lord longs to be gracious to you and He is waiting on High to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice. How blessed are those who trust in Him.” Isaiah 30:18
Dear Brides, These days it is so easy to vent our feelings on social media. We can easily use social media as an outlet to how we feel or even as a place to affirm ourselves. Please don’t fall into this trap. The Amazing Grace of our Heavenly Love is MORE than enough. Go to Him to vent your feelings, allow Him to affirm you, reassure you.
