FB No Longer Tempted

Today I want to Praise God because He helped me fast and "let go" of Facebook.

I just have to praise God again and again because it is exactly two weeks since I decided to leave Facebook because I thought there were too many false teachings that were published. When I decided to start restoring my marriage I visited several Facebook accounts that deceived me and even the so-called "Christian" pages do not actually apply the word of God. Now since I made this decision firmly, I no longer tempted in so many areas of my life where I once struggled. It's been two weeks and counting.

My favorite verses this week have been...

"But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. Now, do not the servant of the Lord should strive; it should, instead, be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient "(2 Tim 2: 23-24).

Since learning this verse I try not to ask questions or topics that could lead to an argument with anyone.

I realized that everything is not about talking about anything and everything, but knowing what to say, having His wisdom to share or to just remain quiet.

"The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes" (Proverbs 21: 1.).

Like everyone here, I trust that the Lord will change my heart first and then that of my husband once He's first in my life.

For I hate divorce ... "(Mal. 2:16) I realized that despite the difficult situations and the impossibility to straighten out the mess in my marriage, in the eyes of men, I have to stay in my marriage and allow God to rebuild it. This is not what my family and friends told me, nor what the world or Facebook says.
