He is Perfecting Us Through Different Ways

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As I was reading my lesson this week from, A Wise Woman Chapter 10 Various Trials, these verses stood out to me. These verses hold a lot of truth to them, but also require us to rely on our spiritual being rather than our fleshly being.

All of us experience various trials daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. We have all been taught by the world how to deal with these trials and it hasn’t gone well for us. But now we have His Word to run to and gain a biblical worldview of how we are to respond to things that happen to us.

I must confess that I am not always excited about trials that come into my life. Instead I sometimes get anxious, irritated, or any other negative response. However, keeping my mind renewed and focused on what my Husband says allows me to really think about the Truth.

He is changing us to become more like Him. We are now a couple and we should be one. He didn’t get discouraged and start complaining after every trial He experienced. He endured to the end keeping His eyes focused on the Perfect Plan.

I would encourage each of you to spend time daily reading His word. It will help you renew and refresh your mind of the Truth that you should build your life around. Additionally, reading from one of the lessons provided by this ministry will help renew and refresh your mind on how to be a woman, wife, and mother.

Lastly, remember our trials truly are for our good and there will be blessings if we endure until the end.

I remember a phrase that goes like this: for every trial, find a biblical text and read it out loud until NOTHING matters anymore 💛

Me neither, friend. I’m not happy when something very out of the ordinary comes against me, normally I always get irritated thinking about how to resolve it, until I discover that all my thoughts are too small for what He promised me in His word!

  2. Wonderful reminder, I love that He reminds us, quicker and quicker, each trial. he reminds us that He’s right here with us, that it’s a spiritual battle, that He has it all under control.

I take up the verse the apostle James advises us to be happy in trials it is not jumping for joy but to see the end of the trial when we go through this stage.. It is painful sometimes… But God knows that this ordeal is to make us grow and to bear witness to what he has done… Yvonne’s post talks about home schooling.. And I glorify the Lord because the psychologist diagnosed autism in her son but In the end, his son began to integrate… And we say Glory to God.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” J1:2-8 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%201%3A2-8&version=NIV

  4. Trials are part of on this side of Heaven ♥️but we must take heart because when we have Him we are never alone 😍✨Our faith is our anchor and we have hope, because we know that He is our mighty warrior, He will continue to open each “red sea” for us.

  5. Dear Elda going through trails have so many purposes, no it’s not always easy, but as His brides we go through trails differently than people who are still in the world. It took some hard lessons to learn how to embrace trails and I am still not perfect (never will be) BUT with my Beloved by my side, who’s strength is perfected in my weakness, I can go THROUGH the trails with Him.

  6. ” We are now a couple and we should be one. He didn’t get discouraged and start complaining after every trial He experienced. ” I love this beacuse I also fail a lot and not respond as I´d want to everytime but I go back to Him and I know even my response was part of the trial, but after i fail I then learned to not fall again with that same stone, alwaus in His strength.
