Dear Friend, I have read the HTBB series each year over a few years, each and every time I have been blessed and learned so much especially the principles that have been a blessing in my daily life. This series has not only blessed me but helped me to become a DOER and not just a HEARER of the word!
I love the HTBB series and felt led by HH to journal not only to feel closer to Him pouring out my heart but to share my journal with the ladies in my First Love Closed Group on FB so that they too can be Encouraged :))
For me reading this series year after year at the start of the New Year is always refreshing, reading the 1st Principle of the series this morning has refreshed me tremendously giving me strength in His love for me knowing that my HH longs to be gracious to me and He wants to meet my needs and give me the desires of my heart. I loved reading that it is not only for now but for a lifetime!!
A lot of the time in our daily lives we walk about thinking about all the things we need to do. What we need in our home and our family's needs. We have bills to pay, school fees, bonds, rent, medical expenses. So many things that keep us up at night. Then there's the emotional toll of going through a separation/divorce or financial constraints in our marriages. The emotional loss of a spouse that has left…
I have learned and speaking from personal experience that our HH wants us ALL TO HIMSELF so that He can take care of EVERYTHING. Whether it be spiritual, emotional, financial. All we have to do is know that He LONGS to be gracious to us and help us!
Isaiah 30:18 “Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.”
But He cannot do it if we don't give our worries & concerns to Him by not speaking to Him about it! Taking the time to sit quietly with Him and speak to Him lovingly 🙂
There was a time I would fight by pacing up & down praying, spiritual warfare but I have seen how much my HH has done for me by just sitting quietly with Him and speaking to Him intimately over a cup of coffee about my struggles and just being at peace knowing Hey His Got This!
I will live out these principles by writing down and memorising the scripture so that when I become worried or concerned I will know and be able to recite back to myself that my HH longs to be gracious to me and is waiting on high to have compassion for me and to tell Him thank You, my Love, as my HH you will show me what to do or lead and guide me, I am safe and secure in You.
Dear Lord, I bring my brother Heini before you. Please do whatever it takes in his life so that he will come to know You Personally! Please take him out of the mud and mire and set his feet on the solid rock. Deliver him from His addiction so that he becomes addicted to You and Your LOVE!
When He becomes our HH He wants to take care of us as a Husband should, may I just add from personal experience that as our HH He takes care of us His Brides even better than an EH.
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
