He Needs to Do the Impossible

โ™• Today's Promise: โ€œIn famine He will redeem you from death, And in war from the power of the sword.โ€ Job 5:20

Dear Brides, God wants to show His greatness and faithfulness through your giving especially when there is 'LACK'. He wants to show up in your obedience to trust Him to do the impossible and to make an increase in every aspect of your life.

I need to TRUST God by giving in my lack, so that He can show up and increase what I have to glorify Him! He inhabits the praises of His people. Hence, whenever He sends opportunities, by His leading, Praising and giving will attract Him to do greater things. Walking closely with Him, discerning His Will, to avoid falling prey into the enemy's schemes.

I am a big giver and this habit usually attracts people to me. Most take advantage of it and do it repeatedly and habitually, which in turn drains me and frustrates me. Some had driven me to the point that I eventually started saying ''NO'' and the enemy was making me feel guilty of being stingy, and God has shown me during my repentance prayer that I had done the right thing by saying NO, and disassociating myself from them. I feel no regrets and this lesson, Chapter 4 โ€œGive it Awayโ€, confirms that God's ways or opportunities to give will not wear us out and will certainly not drive us to the point of insanity.

Lately, God has been teaching me the discipline of saving. He has brought to my attention of giving money away too much and most times spending unnecessarily on things as well.

Spending enough time with God to discern which opportunities to give will bring about His fulfillment. It requires trusting God and obeying Him in giving when He leads.

Recently, while I took a walk outside, I was confronted by a street guy (who are well-known for stabbing people when they resist giving up their bags, wallets, phone, etc...). I was holding onto a water bottle and two K2 notes and a K10 note. He approached me and demanded the water, then a K2 for his bus-fare. I willingly gave away the water without resistance. And instead of one K2 note, I gave him two K2 notes. Ideally, he would've grabbed the K10 note as well. But I watched in amazement when he started running away from me as if he saw a whole troop of bodyguards beside me. This was last week towards the end of my 21 days fast and my body was too weak to handle any physical constraint. God really is faithful in protecting us when we simply obey and walk with Him!

Pray with me: Dear Lord, I need help here for time management and self-discipline in the area of falling asleep and waking early to spend more time with You before anyone else. I need to draw wisdom from You on having a Spirit of excellence so that I can minister to the lost in my way of behavior. Teach me to TRUST You more and wait on You and Your commands. Thank You for the transformation in my mindsets which I am enjoying. I need to continue walking in humility and compassion with Your Holy Spirit.

Dear Brides, when you have nothing, yet God tells you give, what should you do then? Simply trust Him and give away the little, and then stand back on your faith, and watch Him do the wonders that you will never understand. It's about trusting Him and obeying Him. He needs to do the impossible so that it can draw attention to Him for His glory.

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." โ€”Luke 6:38

A great promise to remember when presented with an opportunity to give in my lack!

1 Corinthians 1:27 says, โ€œFor God has chosen the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and He has chosen the weak of the world to shame the mighty.โ€

Trust God to do what He says even when it doesn't make sense!

Finding the Abundant Life is wonderfully expressed with scriptures and personal testimonies which are every way relatable to most women going through painful situations and struggles from abandonment and rejection.
