I have to share this short praise this morning about how my Husband protected me, because He is our best Protection (https://loveatlast.org/finding-the-abundant-life/chapter-12-your-best-protection/).
Yesterday morning before waking the children up for school, I went into their bathroom and saw that the glass shower door was hanging skew. This happened before and I normally just lift it up and put it back on the rail, but this morning as I picked it up, it broke. Since it's safety glass it broke into millions of pieces, it fell all over me and I was surrounded by glass pieces. My daughter brought me shoes to be able to get out. As I started cleaning, I saw blood on my arms and hands, I could also feel glass pieces inside my clothes and saw that there were very fine glass pieces stuck to my skin.
I went to the other shower to rinse all the glass off, my clothes were full of glass pieces and it fell everywhere, I thought I must be cut all over, BUT my Husband protected me, and except for a few minor, superficial cuts on my arms, I was not cut anywhere, despite the glass being inside my clothes. Thinking back and how the glass fell over me, it could have gotten into my eyes, but once again PTL, my Husband protected me.
Each and every day we have so many things we can praise and thank Him for, small things and big things, at the end of the day and during each day we must count our blessings one by one

It was only afterwards that I realized it could have been so much worse and how much my Husband really protected me Janine.
Oh Adina. For sure He was your best protection. I am so glad you are okay with only a few minor cuts which is of course also a symbol of His protection. While they are healing, you will be looking at them so thankful that your Husband protected you.

Yes I use it as a testimony of His protection and show everybody my minor wounds and then share how it’s all that happened because my Husband protected me 😁
Oh my word Adina im surprised to read your and Isabella praise because they are both about His physical protection. Praise Him that you only suffered minor cuts and bruises im so glad that your kids are were protected!
Yes PTL my children were still asleep, but they woke up thinking somebody broke into the house 😁. Last year something else happened to me that could have happened to my son, I took one of his T-shirts out of the closet to give it to him, but as I was handing it to him I felt an incredible sharp pain in my hand, and immediately realized something bit or stung me and threw the T-shirt outside. When I infolded it I saw something huge and black, and my first thought was “black widow spider”. But after spraying it with Doom and looking closer, it was something I never saw before, I took a picture and did a google picture search, it turned out to be a Carpenter bee. They are huge, black and with white stripes. PTL I got stung and not my son 😁.
I love the verse you shared. I’m glad to hear that it was only minor injuries. How wonderful that He gave you a shield of protection.

Not every woman needs a restored marriage and sometimes they don’t even want one, but all women NEED the love of a Husband, our Maker because we’ve all been rejected and we’ve all grieved from our rejection.
“For your Husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.
“’For the Lord has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,’ Says your God.” Isaiah 54:4-6
I just want to add on here with Erin’s comment, that for years I wanted a restored marriage and my marriage was restored, but I still felt so empty, because I missed the whole point, because what I actually needed was a very very close relationship with our Darling Lord and for Him to be my First Love (https://loveatlast.org/his-bride/). Firstly it was suppose to be all about Him and I didn’t make it about our dear Lord and I missed out so much and now I want to encourage women that want a restored marriage to firstly make our Darling Lord your First Love, make Him your everything, make it all about Him.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. M6:33

I agree with you Erin. I also came to RMI seeking marriage restoration and like Erin, Janine and Paula the Lord restored my marriage, but by following everything I learned here I obtained much more than marriage restoration, truly we ALL need an intimate relationship with the Lord ( when I arrived I didn’t know it), is the greatest blessing we could ever wish for, and I only discovered it on this wonderfully life-changing trip that gave me the opportunity to meet him personally. It is the best thing that has happened to me in my life, I do not change at all what I have experienced until today for the fact of having the most special and important relationship of my life with HIM.

Every day our Lord brings healing and restoration to the many broken marriages. When I came here 4 years ago, that was also my reason for following the principles you will learn here. And although sometimes I still think for the sake of my children I want to see my marriage 💒 restored. It also scares me to think that the time will come when He will restore me to my former husband. I am just feeling after letting the wounds of my heart heal at the beginning of a restored love relationship with Him 💞, my First Love. I am currently learning to do many things differently. Because I let Him lead me more and more. The love, protection, peace and lying in his arms without worries are increasingly daily things that I have now. I have that happy feeling, because of Him who has made me His bride. Hopefully He has not yet scheduled my restoration any time soon.

But just as He protected you, He protected me too… He is incredible and we give Him praise for always being by our side, guarding us and protecting us from greater things happening to us.🙌

So sorry to hear Marta, but PTL that you were also surrounded by His protection. When I was younger, I was lying in hospital next to a lady that was in an car accident and her face was full of deep cuts from safety glass, I was never able to forget that image and it was the first thing that came up when I realized how He protected me…and you! PTL!!❤️❤️
