He provides for every detail

Dear brides, This week I experienced that He cares for me as His bride. He gave me a great discount on clothing in a wonderful way. My youngest son (almost 13 years old) is growing fast, so he needed a few new sweaters. Of course these had to be hoodies, he likes to wear them😉. I had received discount coupons from a clothing store a while ago. There was a coupon for € 9, - and the other coupons were 30% and 25% discount. My son had found two nice hoodies and when I paid I gave the coupon for € 9, - discount and the 30% discount coupon, I had calculated that I would get the most discount this way, I thought.....

When processing the coupon for € 9, - something went wrong. The employee indicated that the voucher was no longer valid because it had already been used on my customer number. Clothes had been bought with it a few days ago. I didn't understand it, I hadn't bought any clothes at this store otherwise I wouldn't have the discount voucher anymore? I asked her to check if my details were correct. She indicated that everything was correct and that I really couldn't use the voucher. A customer who was standing next to me in the queue also got involved and thought that I really deserved the discount and stood up for me (I knew her and she is a Christian). The employee kept insisting that I had already spent the voucher and said to destroy it. I didn't want to argue so I chose to be the least.

I am grateful that He taught me to be the least, accepted what she said and gave her the 25% discount voucher, which I still had left, as a replacement for the €9 voucher, and that did work. After paying, it still bothered me, why did this happen? Isn't it strange that someone can buy things on my account? Actually, I also thought it was a shame that I had missed out on the €9 discount. My son also thought it was a strange situation. While I was cycling back home, I poured my heart out to Him, that always works best! He told me to look at the receipt at home so that I could see how much discount I had received.

When I looked at the receipt at home, I saw what He had done! By using the 25% discount coupon, I was a few euros cheaper than the €9 discount coupon! I just think it's amazing how He works in every little detail, it wasn't a big amount but He knew that I was trying to score the highest discount. I made a calculation error in the discount and He solved it in a special way. Amazing, right?

The best thing I found was that my son witnessed the whole situation and could experience the wonder of it. My Heavenly Man made sure that my son could see how He takes care of all the little things, if we just trust Him and dare to be the least.

Dear Brides, remember that He works on the small details of our lives. I must honestly say that I often expect Him to provide for great things and of course He does, but by experiencing this, I experience that He provides for every little detail of our lives. That gives such wonderful peace and certainty. He is always with us and cares for us, He knows our hearts and our desires. I want to encourage you to trust Him when things don't go as expected. You will experience the blessing of it afterwards.
