Today my praise is about how God is working in my life. Yesterday I had a "busy" day. As I mentioned in a previous PR, my HH arranged a paid get a way trip for me so yesterday I had to run some errands in preparation for the trip. My HH put in my heart that it was time to get my nails done - it's been a long while since I last painted them (I used to take care of my nails every weekend - I've always done it myself - but this time He took ME to a nail salon).
He also put in my heart that I should give a new Bible to the children of my friends that are paying for this trip. I'm not sure if I shared this before but last year when I saw them I got them each a kids beginner bible and the girl just asked me to get her a "real" Bible - so I did it even though she was only 7 years old. So He led me to buy her the NIV version.
Both kids are very interested in knowing about the Lord and I was so happy to share with them what I know. The parents were happy too that I was "introducing" the Lord to them. The girl told me she didn't like to sleep on her own because she had nightmares... so I told her to read Psalms 23 and the Lord would help her. I don't know why I thought about Psalms 23, I think at the time I figured was a short Psalm that she could read. I know their Heavenly Father knows why!
I went back to visit maybe a few months later and to my surprise, she had memorized the entire Psalms 23 and she happily told me that she didn't have nightmares anymore! I can't explain the joy I felt. The boy on the other hand - not as much as a reader like his sister - always listened when she was praying Psalms before they went to bed - they would read one of the stories of the beginner bible too. So on the last night I was there while doing our night prayers, the girl started praying Psalms 23 and she was tired so she forgot one part - that's when my HH and their HF gave us all a bigger surprise - the boy started praying the entire Psalms 23 - we found out on that day and he had memorized it too - since he was listening to his sister praying that for the last few months.
So since they already know the Lord and they went through the beginner's Bible a few times - my HH showed another children version with more stories - that I can't wait to share with them - they're still just 7 years old.
I love the way HH takes good care of me as His bride and shows me opportunities to share with the children about Him and about His stories of love and grace. I don't have children yet but He is giving me another desire of my heart through them.
I know I'm enough for Him - I know He knows my heart - I'm His bride! and He is mine!
Psalms 23 NIV
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his nameβs sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Luke: 18:16 NIV
"But Jesus called the children to him and said, βLet the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these"

Remember, Matthew 7:13-14 tells us to βEnter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.β
And Psalm 100:4 tells us HOW to Enterβ βEnter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.β
