"A manβs heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps." P16:9
One of the Promises of the Lord that has accompanied me is this, He directs the heart where He wishes. And this helps us relieve the burden of pain, knowing that no one but He has control of the hearts of other people. And not only that, dear Bride, but our own hearts turn to Our Beloved more and more every day, healing our wounds, easing our burdens, resting in His love.
It becomes more real every day, because He wants to be the center of our lives, he wants to take away our pain, and to do that, we must allow Him to break us, to show us the things that we need to get out of our hearts, that maybe we didn't remember. But they are accumulated there, making a prey, and we need to get them out.
The Lord showed me that when he cleans me, although it breaks me, and brings back painful memories, it is for my good, it is because he needs to cleanse that wound, from within, so that he can heal completely.
Let us give thanks to Our Beloved Jesus, who moves hearts, and who knows when we are ready, to heal, to forgive and to love.https://loveatlast.org/hhm/c5/
Dear Liza, thank you for sharing, I agree, the fact that He turns hearts is very comforting, and how He turned our hearts and heals all the wounds. At times to face all the painful memories, but He taught me to surrender each memory to Him, and He healed that memory. I am still a work in progress, but all the memories I gave to Him is now without emotion when it does come back to mind.
A beautiful promise from Proverbs. Yes, he wants to heal our wounds and ease our burdens, but we must allow Him to break us and show us the things we need to release. π
