β Today's Promise: βFor I know the thoughts that I think of you, says the Lord; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you the end you hope for.β Jeremiah 29:1
Hello dear brides.
As I read the encouragement that morning, where the bride shares about refusing to have intimacy with her former husband, as she had learned that the divorce had been concluded, it reminded me that I went through an almost similar situation a few months ago.
As I shared in another report, I experienced seeing my marriage restored, and soon afterward I watched my former husband leave again and give up, going back to the house... And I was also accused by his family, with harsh words, that he was giving up on returning due to my refusal to be intimate because we were divorced, because he is still legally married to the other womanΒ and I will wait until we are married again.
Before that event, I was also able to hear beautiful and loving words from Him, and still be called a wife in front of salespeople in a store.
I was able to live His peace in this situation, because obedience to Him and His Word is worth it, and it makes us go further on our journey, making sure that wherever we go, it will be the best place, because as we know, His plans are much bigger and better, and His Company is really all we need to be happy.
For I know the thoughts that I think of you, says the Lord; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you the end you hope for. Jeremiah 29:1
