Dear Brides, you'll enjoy this faith-building testimony in Chapter 5 "Hopelessly In Need of Him" of His sudden provision to bless someone else even when you seemingly don't have the funds to do it!
It reminded me of the impossible that God can easily turn into the possible! Michelle was in one of the tightest financial spots (financial ruin honestly) and still, God made a way for her to be able to offer her son and his future wife a honeymoon getaway to Hawaii!
Again, just reading these chapters in Poverty Mentality of how we can safely and completely trust Him at His word —that He will supply all our needs and take care of us. That He can still give us our hearts desires when we want to help others!
I have a young friend who I found out has been struggling financially. I know that it's important to ask Him if we are the ones He wants to use to bless them or if it's through someone else. Also, His timing too because He brings us through difficult times to grow our capacity and dependence on Him!
After asking my Dearest, He allowed me to slip some cash (the amount He said) into her backpack while she was distracted in conversation with a group of us girls one day. She has no idea who gave it and that's where we truly test our hearts! We don't need them to know and we should never think we're so great because we did that kind act! No! It's His to give and I get to be apart of it!
But how awesome is this verse?
"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." Luke 6:38
Help me to never stress or worry about finances. Help me to always remember the freeing principles of giving those things over to you especially as I move into marriage. That when I give you my first fruits that you'll protect me and multiply! Want to grow closer to you each and every day because you're all that I want, you're all that I need, you're all that I live for.
