β Today's Promise: "Do not owe anyone anything but love each other. For whoever loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.β Romans 13: 8.
~ Tiara in Poland
Dear Bride, I believe this chapter ["Owe no Man"] can give you hope and encourage you to be free from the debts and burdens you bear. Your Heavenly Husband wants to give you freedom so that you can focus on what is most precious, on Him.
The spiritual mountains in our lives seem impossible to move, this realization helps us come to a place of surrender and hand over our mountain to our Heavenly Husband who specializes in the impossible. Feeling heavy is a sign that we are not yoked with the Lord, which is light and pleasant.
Every burden in our life is an opportunity to get closer to our HH (Heavenly Husband), I love that He really cares about the bigger and smaller things and can be entrusted with all our cares. I used to carry it all myself until I collapsed over the weight. I am glad that I have the best Husband who relieves me. The same is possible for you, if you still carry the burdens of your life yourself, give them to your HH, He really cares about you. The most beautiful thing is that He, in His love, helps us to clean up the mess of our lives in every area, He does not leave us with anything alone, because it no longer includes His grace. Some have trouble focusing on not deserving it and refusing blessings. It is true that none of us deserve such grace and love, but for this I love my HH (Heavenly Husband) even more, because I know that I do not deserve, and He loves me and blesses me incredibly, not for what I am just what He is like and I accept it with joy and adoration for Him. Love never fails, His love sets us free.
For some reason, I avoided credits all my life, maybe my mother taught me to live according to the actual condition and possibilities. There was something about this pushing me off to be obligated for several years or more financially, I knew that to some extent it took away my freedom, added pressure and stress. My wish was and is to live without debt and now I am starting to believe more and more that it is possible. I have completely different views on this than my earthly husband and unfortunately I was not wise enough to talk about pre-wedding finances as about many key topics, but I believe the Lord can transform his heart in this and other areas so that we are in unity. The only loan I took was a student loan that you don't have to pay back if you don't earn a certain amount. Back then, I was starting a career in my future so paying back would not be a problem, now my desire is to remain a housewife. I still have no obligation to pay it back, but I will again seek guidance from the Lord on what to do with it, because it would be good to be free from it and I know that everything is possible with Him.
I also realized that I have learned to accept blessings and gifts from my HH (Heavenly Husband) through others by simply being grateful, thanking Him and falling in love even more, but I can see that many people have a problem accepting gifts. They often want to pay back and immediately think they owe that person or even refuse to accept it. Now I think how this approach translates into bigger things. I know people who refuse to accept the gospel because I understand that it seems too easy for them. How can you get something so great for free? I think it comes from saying that nothing is free in life, but the Lord is not like humans. His love is incomprehensible. I am so glad that He opened my eyes to the simplicity of the Good News, although I also circled the subject for a long time, unable to comprehend this simplicity.
My resolve is to boast only in the Lord and my weaknesses, and to believe and accept by faith that my Husband will carry mountains of debt and others to the sea.
Dear bride, each chapter has many gems and each of us can get something different for ourselves. Sometimes the chapter doesn't seem to appeal to me and I have a hard time writing something in my journal, but I read it again and talk to my HH (Heavenly Husband) about it and start getting my attention to many things and speaking to my heart. I encourage you to do the same.
