So last month was Valentine's Day in Brazil and I have to confess that I have always loved this date and for many years I put myself in a role of needing attention and love, begging for "a special day".
But, after I found my Beloved Heavenly Husband, I stopped carrying the burden of worrying about what would happen on that day! My heart was slowly putting itself in the right place and on Valentine's Day, I always think about what He and I can do together.
This past Valentine's Day, He planned it Himself, in a way I never imagined - yes, He took me on a trip, it was a work trip, but it was just the two of us for three days.
He took me to dinner, I was able to find a store with incredible prices and I bought a beautiful pair of pants! And the icing on the cake was when I arrived at the office, and a colleague gave me a beautiful box with cake, bread, jam, something wonderful that left me so surprised and I even got a scented candle in all wrapped in a beautiful package! My Valentine's Day gift arrived in a totally unexpected way!
He thought of everything and I didn't have to do anything! I just had to enjoy these moments and the opportunities to be loved and pampered by Him!
Ladies, I confess that it took me a while to realize what He was doing for me, to realize the details and delicacies that were surrounding me during the entire time of these three days that He took care of me and made me see how much I am loved and desired.
And I don't want to stop realizing this, because I know that many times, we fall into the temptation of expecting from men, our husbands, partners, ex-husbands, what they don't have and therefore, they will never be able to fulfill our needs, as our Beloved can and wants to fulfill them.
For a long time I resented this, today it is no longer like that, thanks to Him 
And thanks to all the testimonies of special women, like you who are reading now! Yes! Women who feel loved by the One who gave His own life for them! That's why you no longer need to suffer or desire the love of another man.
And we are not resentful about it! In fact, we are open to love even those who are "unlovable", because we have true Love that overflows from our hearts - there is no longer any lack, in fact our measure is repressed, shaken, overflowing, we can give generously! Because we have everything we need, we lack nothing, because He is our Love and Good Shepherd
That's why, every Valentine's Day, what I most desire is to renew my desire to live by His side, that my heart does not yearn for anyone else - even if I'm married, that I run into His arms and hold on and never let Him go!

Dear Paula,
thank you for sharing with us what a wonderful time you had with your Heavenly Husband. Valentine’s Day here in my country is paid less and less attention. Which is an enlightenment for me as a romantic. That doesn’t change the fact that sometimes in my heart I still long to spend the day with someone special. And now we as bride have that Special one in our lives.
You certainly make a point that we often don’t realize what He does for us. In my opinion, I often forget that everything I have, get and can do comes from Him. That is His love for me.
It’s not Valentine’s Day though
I am currently waiting for my brother to come and help me assemble two shelves for the washing machine and dryer. A blessing from my Heavenly Husband. It will be a fun day because my brother and I get along well. Another way He pampered me with.
