I just want to than my Husband for giving me the desires of my heart this Christmas.
He led me to just have a quiet Christmas eve at home with the children, watching Christmas movies with lots of popcorn, and that is exactly what He gave us, but He also provided a variety of good quality chocolate with the popcorn! It was an beautiful evening, everything I desired and more! He even led me to decorate the salad leaves and tomatoes to look like Christmas berries on our dinner plates, with cold meat cuts, cheese, and South African “biltong” and dried sausage, He just provided everything me and the children love to eat. And they finished everything, which is another confirmation that it was from my Husband and their Heavenly Father!
On Christmas day He also gave me more than what I could ever imagine, not gifts or material things, but spending a wonderful day with my family with amazing food and Him. It was such a precious time and while I sat there at the table, looking at my family, I could just thank Him for everything He provided so generously, for the privilege to still have my wonderful family in my life, that He had me move to this town on my journey to be close to them and for all the help and support He provided through them during the most difficult times of my journey.
He truly knows the desires of our heart, no matter how small or simple it may seem to us, it matters to Him!
