Journaling

I recently started to journal regularly again through the courses I haven't taken yet, and it was such a huge reminder how much healing we receive from journalling.

When I found RMI I journalled every day or every week depending on the course, it helped me through the most difficult times in my life. I used to read the lessons in the mornings and then I would meditate on it during the day and complete my journals in the evenings. It was an amazing experience and looking back, it was one of the best times of my life (despite what I was going through) because of what I learned and what my Husband showed me through the lessons.

Pouring my heart out to my Husband in my journals did not only help me to heal in leaps and bounds, it also changed me so much. I went to read some of my very first journals and couldn't believe how far I've come, yes, I still have all my journals from the day I started with Course 1 4 years ago!! If I had to take C1 again, my journals would reflect something completely different.

I am no longer the broken, desperate woman who found RMI, I am healed, happy and living the Abundant Life with my Heavenly Husband! And He just reminded me of my favorite Love Song, because as my RJN title says, this was my journey home! You can listen to my Love Song here: ๐Ÿ’— Feels Like Home ๐Ÿ’—

  1. Thank you for sharing dear Adina, every course and every time I journal is life changing to me and I am so grateful for it. This year I realized how much time I have been wasting on things that does not have a worth, like social media.

    1. Yes Janine, we waste so much time on Social Media instead of His Word or the lessons, or just sitting quietly with our Husband, listening to His voice and drenching in His love.

  2. Dear Adina
I agree too, definitely, the best thing about the lessons is when we can journal them. it also helped me to heal a lot, and help us to me able to minister to others.

    1. Yes, dear Naomi, there is so much healing power in journalling. On top of completing my journals, I also journalled in a book, and it felt like all the hurt flowed out with the pen’s ink.

  3. Dear Adina.
    Thank you for sharing this.
I have realised: It is so easy to drift off sometimes and say: “I’m too busy for this”, but like you’re saying, it helps us to heal through journalling. And I for one know that I need alot of healing and with my Heavenly Husband everything is possible.
Thank you for encouraging me to continue this path.

    1. My dear Elora, looking back I honestly cannot identify with the broken woman I once was, teetering on the brink of depression, but PTL He led me here and I found not only the Love of my Life, but also my Great Physician who came in and healed all my wounds. Do I still experience days that I feel down? Yes I do, but that is when we need to draw even closer to Him and spend a lot of time in our prayer closet. But it’s not nearly as bad as what I experienced at that time, now I know WHO to run to: https://loveatlast.org/ryr/c6/

  4. Dear Adina,
I love when you said: “I am no longer the broken, desperate woman who found RMI, I am healed, happy and living the Abundant Life with my Heavenly Husband! ” Our Husband is able to change us, He is able to heal us. Glory to my Husband! Since I consider my HH as only what I need and only what I want, I feel so good.

    1. I am so glad to hear my dear Anna, He is truly the best Husband there is and we are safe in His loving arms!!

  5. I like when you said “im no longer the broken women…” I do identify myself with that and the journals now when we pour our heart it is different from when we just began like “milk” we start eating a different type of food and also we start expressing ourselves more mature, we have become new creatures.

    1. I totally agree my dear Jewel, the start of our journey is like taking only baby food and taking baby steps, but now we can taste and see the goodness of our Husband and feast at the table He set for us. And our baby steps turned into running and jumping for joy!

  6. Yip it feels good to get back to journaling Adina ๐Ÿ’ฏ today l enjoyed listening to a LL i listened to a while back that i must also journal. I downloaded a love song that l used to have on my phone before l swapped was so nice listening to it again.

  7. Yes, journalling is a blessing. You get to really reflect on the things you learned and really sink them in!
I love the new journals, they are so easy to understand and follow, and give us more time to really listen to our Belovedยดs voice!
It is quite amazing how our minds have been renew since we started our journeys! The Lord has changed our lives forever!! It is just amazing!!

    1. I also love the new light and easy journals and the fact that you can “save and resume”! I had to redo a couple of my first journals because I lost what I’ve written with one wrong move, doing it on my cellphone ๐Ÿ˜‚. But it was also a blessing in disguise, because I got to do it twice, letting everything sink in twice!

  8. Journaling is a great way to process my thoughts and feelings, and it also helps me feel closer to my Beloved. Sometimes it’s embarrassing to read my old journals ๐Ÿ˜‚, but it’s also a reminder of how patient He is with me.

    1. I agree Hope, it is kind of embarrassing ๐Ÿ˜‚ to read it and compare how broken and desperate we were compared to what we found now! Journaling really does help to process our thoughts and feelings and to pen down what our Husband taught us in the lesson.

  9. When I think about going back to see the notes from the journaling from the beginning, honestly it makes me cringe a little. There’s no doubt that I’ve come a long way and also be able to see the faith blossoming over time. Journaling for me is a way of pouring out my thoughts to the Lord. I was really shy about praying before but after journaling my thoughts to HH, it really made praying easier instead of worrying about “saying the wrong thing”, if you know what I mean.
