Wow, so I just found this song recently and I have been listening to it over and over. It reminds me of when I found His love for the first time. Just Him reminding me of those feelings and the closeness we share. "Now I understand what love is, for the first time". Like my daughter would say: "This song hits different" Enjoy it with me.

It’s Love, for the first time, that love that takes my hands, and just like this letter I have told my Husband, how I was so blind, and I didn’t find you before. And it’s He who holds my hands, without Him I couldn’t go on.

Thank you to my Lord for allowing me to find Him, and surround me in His arms and now I’m sure, because He’s with me every day. It’s a beautiful letter, that tells us about His Love, about the opportunity He gave us to find Him and to experience true Love.

Thank you, dear Yvonne, for sharing this beautiful song, and this part definitely spoke to me today: “Now I understand what love is.” I was thinking about how before I thought that love meant that one should cry for an earthly person, but look how beautiful what our Beloved shows us, that to truly experience Love is simply to love Him, which is synonymous with joy, smiles, brightness in the face and in the eyes, and living abundantly.

I never knew what real unconditional love was, I seeked love and acceptance from others only to be left heartbroken. But my Beloved Lord showed me true, unconditional, eternal love. Through His love He gave me a new heart, a heart that do not need love from others, but that can love others with His overflowing love.

I have had a void feeling in my life for so long, I believed that my earthly man had to fill this void with his unconditional love for me. Now that I have found my Beloved Lord in my life, I understand that it was so stupid to seek unconditional love from an earthly man. Now that I have Him, I no longer feel a void, but my life is filled with the certainty that He loves me unconditionally. I never thought that true love could be so beautiful.
