When I heard this song the words rang so very true because it is exactly what my Beloved did it my life when He swooped in and pulled me out of the miry pit I was in when my life fell apart. "He gave me wings and made my fly" reminds me of one of my favorite promises:
"but those who hope in the Lord

they will walk and not be faint."
