| July 24, 2024 will be our 25th anniversary, however, my husband has requested a divorce and in the state that we live in it will likely be finalized prior to that date. We have 4 grown children who are not currently aware that my Husband has filed for a divorce. I am looking for additional support in standing faithfully, hopefully and confidently in the restoration of my marriage. My husband doesn't trust me. I came into our marriage very emotionally immature and insecure. That state presented itself in jealous, insecure behavior, disrespecting him in word and action that embarrassed him in public. He also poured everything he had into me trying to help my confidence. I was never able to truly accept his love and he gave everything until he didn't have anything left to give. God has done tremendous healing in my life and relationship with the father over the last 18months. My husband says that he has zero hope that I have truly changed and that I am just modifying my behavior. He doesn't love me, isn't attracted to me and is just done. He wants to just move on and start over. He is also very angry at me for not doing the healing and work that I needed to do prior to this point. He feels rejected and just won't allow himself to open back up. He has zero hope that our marriage can be fixed. |

| Father God, my heart is broken and grieving for the loss of my marriage, the connection and friendship of my husband. I miss him so much. I know that your word says that All things are possible with you. I struggle with believing that for myself. I want to have hope, faith, joy and peace that you truly do love me and have good plans for me and that I can trust you. I want to believe that not only is your heart to restore my marriage but that you are working. I deeply desire for my husband to encounter you and to have you heal the wounds that he has. I believe that you can do anything but I really struggle with doubting that you will heal my marriage and my family. I am scared about the impact this is going to have on our kids. I am truly sorry for all the pain you are experiencing. I too, had problems in my marriage because of my own behavior. My EH came and left multiple times for years before he came home for good. Many things were spoken about that caused me to fear but I decided to take all my thoughts and feelings to my HH alone. My husband and I have been together a while like you and your eh, 26 years, and have 3 boys. After reading your evaluation He reminded me how my husband also thought I was just modifying my behavior and would return back to the normal bitter, jealous woman i had been. God can restore your marriage, even if you’re the only one pursuing restoration as He did mine. Just be still and give all your concerns to Him
