Ever since I learned all the truth in the How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage book, and all the lessons I did at RMI, I wanted to be baptized so much.
An ePartner and I made it a matter of prayer and yes the time was not yet right, so weeks and months passed.
In the new year, the Lord worked with me more in different places in my life. Step by step He made me ready to be baptized and molded me more like clay.
But there was still 1 thing that stood in the way, yes it was smoke that still blocked me from so much. And the Lord helped me to go on the journey of deliverance from smoking. What I shared last week.
Monday morning the 4th the Lord spoke and worked with me again, I asked the Lord to be Lord and told the Lord that I want to be born again and that He should kill my old self and let me be born again in Him. So later in the afternoon the Lord brought baptism to my attention.
So I got 2 people's number. I then said to myself that if it is the Lord's will, I will be baptized this weekend. Tuesday morning I said it again before I contacted the 2 people.
And so everything came together and began to fall into place. The pastor let me know that I could be baptized on Sunday the 10th.
10 March Sunday morning my daughter and I were baptized. I know the Lord and the Holy Spirit were there. Every disease and hurt was healed. Every bad spirit and curse has been broken from us as a family.
The baptism was more than just a baptism for me. Is my and the Lord's date, I am his bride. Was washed clean and made clean again by the Lord and the holy spirit. I live a new life with Him. And I want to do what he wants me to do and to work for him. I want to be filled with all of Him and be what He wants me to be.
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.E36:25-27
On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.A19:5-6
for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.G3:27
