βWhoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.β John 4:13-14
Hello brides, greetings from Portugal
I want to share with you what the Lord shared with me when I made myself available to understand His word, and His passage through the land of Samaria
He knows how much I love this verse, that it was He who called me to this conversation
John 4
Him: Lessyane
Me: Yes, Lord
Him: Why do you like my passage through Samaria so much?
Me: There are so many points in it that leave me breathless.
Him: Why?
Me: Oh, Lord... did you stop at a well to talk to an adulterous woman?
Confess, Lord, were you really not thirsty or were you?
Him: Yes, I was, but I didn't go there for the water, but for her.
Him: Did you notice that I sent all the disciples to the city to buy food?
Me: I thought it was strange to send 12 men to buy food. Only 2 or 3 could have gone, but now 12? There's something wrong with that, Lord!
He: Yes, there is, Lessyane. This woman, besides being in adultery, was sick inside and her life was a disgrace. She would go to fetch water alone at 12:00 p.m.
Do you remember that in Cape Verde you would go to the well to fetch water in the morning or late afternoon? And you always went with the other women (aunt, sisters, cousins).
Me: True, Lord. Yes, I do remember!
He: That's right. She was ashamed, guilty, had unconfessed sins, and the βother womenβ didn't go with her because she βlostβ the example.
He: When I bring someone's sin in front of them, it's not to βpunishβ them, but so that they confess and receive forgiveness!
Me: But what was the initial plan in her life?
Or, your meeting?
He: Restore it there, and use it to reach the Samaritans! Do you remember the story of David, his son, and the servant who was king in Israel?
Me: I remember, and I am βangry with themβ, because they could not have done what they did to the house of David, after so much suffering.
He: You continue to do many things similar to what they did, but you donβt notice
Me: (embarrassed), but what about the story of the house of David!
He: Do you remember that Israel was divided?
Me: I remember, Lord, and I was so shaken when I read it!
He: So, the altars that they built, my Father does not hear the prayers that they make, and he also does not receive any kind of offering, no matter how rich they are!
Me: Why?
He: Because He does not share His glory with anyone because they had two altars, one for the Father and one for idols, but since those people are His, I needed to go there!
Me: And what does that have to do with us?
He: You create methods and fables for your marriages, you believe wholeheartedly in romantic books and you are not capable of putting My principles and laws into practice! Do you think that if that woman knew EVERYTHING about Me, she would have gotten married 5 times? And by the way, the last one was based on adultery?
Me: Lord.
He: Lessyane, let me continue... the world teaches their own methods, which they created. No marriage is sustained by methods, but by My Word, although you often do not recognize this, but you get to the point you get to because you despise everything I taught! I do not want you to βinventβ laws to maintain a marriage, but rather to read My Laws.
Me: (embarrassed), forgive me, Lord, you are right!
He: But, even so, I brought each one of you to the well to teach the TRUTH! In fact, you run to me to restore your marriage, but on the way you leave the jar (marriage) and go tell everyone what I did and said at the well.
Me: And then?
He: They went out of town and came to Him."
John 4:30
I understand, Lord. Thank you
Beautiful conversation
I just love how He always lead our hearts to His truth and His love. Our lives will bever be the same now that we have Him. He is teaching the truth, we can always just ask Him everything and with love He will show us His truth. What an amazing experience my sweet friend

Sim. Isa, Γ© maravilhoso quando Ele me chama para me ensinar alguma coisa, e muitas vezes Ele ensina me as mesmas coisas, mas em circunstΓ’ncias diferentes

Eu sou uma mulher tΓ£o apaixonada

I truly enjoyed this conversation that you shared Lessyane. It was such a pleasure to read. Thank you for sharing. He leads us to the Truth.
Ele sempre nos leva a verdade

Foi um privilΓ©gio ouvir a Sua conversa , na verdade Sua verdade
He always leads us to the truth

It was a privilege to hear His talk, indeed His truth
It is a beautiful conversation and teaching. Taking a pause to meditate and ask HIM about what He tells us in His Word is very valuable and helps us keep the flame of our love and relationship with Him alive. Thank you for sharing Lesyane!
Hermoso, Lesyanne.

Beautiful, Lesyanne. He really speaks to us, and that conversation I felt my own. I didnβt build with His laws, but He comes to seek us out and teach us and forgive us. Beautiful to know that it is HE Himself who comes for us, to give us a new life.
