Yesterday morning, I submitted a prayer request, about a situation that I have had extreme struggle with over the last couple of years and I really needed wisdom and clear direction. My request was that God would give me wisdom and direction. He has promised this, but I have unfortunately allowed myself to be "tossed to and fro as the wave of the sea" so that I was confused once again.
James 1:6 (KJV) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
James 1:6 (AMPC) Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
James (1:6 MSG) If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.
Last night, God abundantly answered me. Indirectly giving me wisdom and direction, but even more graciously and abundantly, a great breakthrough that was truly the Holy Spirit.
I am so grateful for those who are ministering through prayer! Having so dramatically experienced the results of this ministry, I am very encouraged to get involved myself in the near future.
Thank you dear sisters! Thank you God! Today I have hope! 🙂
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. Psalm 34:6 and,
Mark 11:23-24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
