For almost three years I had been asking God to help my husband kick the addiction to sugary sodas because he was out of control drinking between 2 and 3 liters (67 to 101 Oz) of soda a day, I already knew that telling him no If he did, he was not going to achieve anything and that he needed to win it without words. My Husband taught me that I couldn’t judge him at all because I was also addicted to sugar, I didn’t know it until he led me to cut it almost completely from my diet!! And yes, I felt withdrawn!! 😂
Instead of judging him, I prayed every time he reminded me and when Federico asked me to buy him sodas. But instead of decreasing or showing interest in quitting, he took more and more. Suddenly, he started having headaches from time to time until he spent fifteen or twenty days with headaches 24 hours a day!!!! In my heart, I sensed that it was due to excess sugar but I didn’t say anything. I waited in silence!! 🙌🏻
When he visited the neurologist, he told him that he had to stop consuming sugar because he was close to diabetes, praise my Heavenly Husband because Federico took it seriously!!! He replaced the sodas with water and is accommodating to my sugar-free diet!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 my Husband is leading us to be more like one flesh 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻, and to the glory of the Lord when he tried to go back up the sugar dose a little, the headaches that reminded him returned don’t step out of line!! 😂😂😂 I love how he makes it possible without having to say a word 🥳🥳🥳
What a wonderful praise Anastasia! It’s so amazing how the principle of winning without a word can really work when we apply it and it allows our Husband to do what only He can do!
I wished I learned this lesson so long ago. My eh went to not consuming certain beverages at all for our whole marriage because of me to drinking every day toward the end. One day the Lord has me buy the drink for him as a way to get over it and it was so scary for me…I wish I would have loaded up the fridge with the stuff long ago.
I know it is difficult to not be hard on yourself now but we all made mistakes and that is what brought us here. The Lord used the circumstances we were in to allure us back and He has a plan and purpose for it all! He always turns it around for good, you will see! Keep pressing into Him, keep learning and keep applying His principles and you will see Him do so many incredible things in your life and most importantly you will feel His unconditional love for you everyday! 💗

I was there too my dear, for a long time trying my best, even with the same issue of sugary drinks, so don’t give up, just turn it around and start applying the principles and what He teaches you, it’s never too late !

Anastasia thank you for sharing your praise. In fact, I need to reduce the sugar and I haven’t been doing that, and my daughter has been constantly telling me to reduce it. I know I need to pay attention to listening and practice, as my Beloved may be teaching me through my little Brincy.
This is so encouraging. I am dealing with the exact same thing, my addiction to sugar. It’s been a long process. I fasted from sugar for a week and totally felt a difference. I fell back into it again but when I fail My Love forgives my unfaithfulness and comforts me. He is so patient with me. I have been telling Him this is something He needs to do in me because I can’t do it. I don’t find the same satisfaction that I used to because I only find that true joy and satisfaction being with My Beloved now. I realize I can’t find what my heart needs with anything else. So slowly I’m turning away from it altogether. Because my heart just wants more of My Beloved Husband. I’m replacing sweets with more of My Sweetheart 😊😍

Thank you Anastasia for reminding us the principle of how to win without words. It is so difficult to stop talking or giving sermons to our beloved ones when we know they are doing something that can affect their well being, but if we stay closer and closer to him, we can see all the small miracles. I can imagine yourself jumping from joy to see how your HH was answering to your prayers and talking to your EH
