Prayer quickly moved

β€œAsk and it will be given to you;Β seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

Good morning! I have a wonderful praise to share this morning!
I may have posted about it briefly when it first happened, but now I would like to follow up.

A few months ago, a woman came over to my house for one of the Abundant Life groups and ended up staying for tea afterwards. I had been praying prior to that, the Lord would bring women into my life to encourage. As we stand there chatting, I wrote down something that I wanted to be praying as shes telling me about it. Then I heard my Love tell me, pray for teeth but don't tell her. Wow. Okay. So I wrote that down too. You see my beautiful friend had no teeth and I had never asked and she never gave me any details so I just got excited and knew he wanted me to pray.

Well, the very next day! A dear friend of mine, and hers, called me asking me how he can help with getting my friend new teeth!! I simply told him I was sure I didn't know exactly how the Lord would do it, but I was sure He would if He put it on my heart to pray! So a few days after that, another dear friend of ours mentioned to me that she had set up a donation fund from the church that they all went too. I was even more excited because I got to watch it all play out and how he chose different people to do different things in all of this.

Yesterday, I saw my friend post her new smile on Facebook! My heart swelled with joy for her. And also was so humbled by the honor of being used for such a wonderful thing. I love how my King handled all the details and I wasn't worried or stressed about what I couldn't do. But focused on what I could do and trusted Him for the rest. I love that feeling of assurance, knowing that what He called me to do, He would finish. I have had the honor of experiencing that feeling a few times now this year. But for six years I had allowed myself to believe the lie that He didn't speak like this. How sad but how wonderful that He brought me back and set me on the solid rock that is His love and truth.

  1. Wow l am so happy for your friend and her new teeth, and her new beautiful smile 😁 HE did it πŸ™ŒπŸΌ this scripture that you shared was part of my bible reading for last week. l made a note in my bible that says “don’t be ashamed to ask” and “be persistent when asking” based on the story that the Lord told in Mark 11 we should always take every opportunity to ask whether its for ourselves or family or friends, its that simple πŸ€— then as you say trust Him for the rest πŸ’–

    1. yes! I just read that verse yesterday morning! what an incredible offer, not only to see the blessings, for them but to see Him move and be encouraged in our faith! it changes our hearts!

  2. Wow thank you for sharing Rasa! I am in awe at how He moves and works out everything in detail. This praise really encouraged me this morning and reminded me that we can just ask and then let it go into our Beloved Lord’s hands to take care of the rest.

  3. How beautiful, Rasa. The Lord used them to give that blessing to her friend and give her a new smile.
And as His Word says, you were in the front row watching Him work. Our Lord is great and all love. Bless him.
