Dear Brides, put on your comfortable shoes and get ready to climb a mountain, but know that you always do it with your Heavenly Husband by your side. Come in to read how some mountains will get moved and others need to be climbed.

As I was reading this lesson [Mountains to Climb], I could understand some things clearly. In a previous lesson I remember picturing myself sitting on a picnic blanket and waiting for my mountain to be moved, but I now realize that there are times that I need to climb a specific mountain.

I was also reminded of a book I read called Hinds Feet on High Places. I could see myself climbing the mountain, but of course, He is there the whole time showing me the way.

When I got my miracle of being able to home-school, my mountain was moved. I dreamed about it, but I never thought it possible. I knew for a fact that my FH (former husband) would never agree to something like that if I made the proposal. So when I imagined myself home-schooling I thought that it could only take place after restoration because then the Lord would touch my FH (former husband) heart. How wrong was I that He made it happen before all of that and because of a crisis.

Coming back to the mountain I need to climb is that we have never really kept to our visitation rights agreement because I have always been agreeable when it comes to the children visiting their father. Now that I am home-schooling, it is taken to the extreme that my kids are only with me in the week and on exceptional occasions I get to see them on weekends. Moreover, they only return on a Monday morning and then they leave again on a Friday morning, making my time to home-school very short.

I see that this is a final mountain for me to climb with my Heavenly Husband by my side and that He will help me to hop, skip and jump with Him while we are climbing this mountain.

Firstly, for me would be to ask my Heavenly Husband, when should I sit and wait for Him to move my mountain and when should I get up and climb the mountain with Him.

Dear Brides, whether your mountain is moved or it needs to be climbed, your Heavenly Husband will also be right beside you, guiding you and keeping you in His will.

β€œNow to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us...” Ephesians 3:20

I love this, I always concentrate on the first part, but this time I took note of the second part that says "according to the power that works within us..." This spoke to me, just reminding that who my Heavenly Husband is.
