Heavenly Husband I am quick to give you all of the praise. You have just been blowing my mind with the things and answered prayers that You have been doing.
As I have mentioned in my last few praise reports, My Love has been very active. I stated before that my husband and I both had lost our jobs due to this COVID-19 epidemic. I just knew He was going to use it for my good if I just remained still (Exodus 14:13-14) and took up my position (2 Chronicles 20:17).
Prior to this time off, a month or two ago, I felt the prompting to pray a verse that I used to pray often, which was for my HH to turn the father's (my EH's) heart back to the/our children and the/our children's hearts back to their fathers (Malachi 4:6). As well as, that my Beloved will give back all of the years, memories and time stolen (Joel 2:25).
At the time, this was far from becoming true. My husband seemed to be getting more involved with the OW and they were so "great and happy" while things shifted to more rough waters and testing for me. The tests seemed to be getting more intense.
Moreover, during this quarantine, as my husband was let go temporarily with the intent to hire back. I prayed to my Love to cause my husband to have to live with this OW 24/7 and not have him come home. Yes, that's right, I praised God and I thanked Him for this quarantine time and I trusted He will use it for my good. I wanted my husband to have to be with this OW. I just wanted my HH.
Well, after about a week of quarantine, my husband who was living with this OW in a house her family rented, started coming over more and more. And he started talking about us having a home together. I was caught off guard.
Also, during this time of quarantine, which was about a month long, my husband, children and I, started going over to my grandmother's house and fixing her yard and house back up, it is kind of like my grandfather's legacy. He developed the yard so beautifully. After his passing my grandmother has not been able to keep it up as it is fairly large plus she cannot see very well. Anyways, the four of us, my husband, our 2 sons and myself, went out and just worked together. Yes it is and was physical labor but our HH started to open my eyes and told me to look, look at what He was doing.
Through this time of us bringing my grandparents' yard back to life, He was also bringing something else back to life. I started to see my husband's heart turn back to my children and my children's hearts back to their father. Malachi 4:6 was becoming real and unfolding before my very eyes. This verse is one that I clung to at the very beginning of my journey several years ago.
I started to see a shift happening, my husband whom had been "lost and buried" for so long was starting to resurface. I began to see my family mended. My boys and their daddy were having so much fun together, laughing, playing around, working together and just being together. He started to reveal and show me that He was restoring back what the locust had stolen---the years, memories, love, laughter---that were long gone, stolen, devoured and destroyed. He was redeeming the time and all that was lost. This was only our HH and His mighty power. There was nothing that I did but trust Him and pursue Him.
Beautiful Brides, He is faithful even when we have failed Him, even when we have made more mistakes than we can count, even when we doubted and were doubleminded, even when we just plain wanted to give up and walk away for it was impossible.
The icing on the cake is that my husband has now been home for the last 3 weeks and has not left. He was just called to go back to work, while at work, he texted me and said he did not want to be at work, he wanted to be home. This is very out of character for my husband as he has always wanted to work, always wanting to make money. I was just stunned and completely more in love with my HH and what He has done and can do.
Thank you HH for being so faithful, loving me for Your word does not return void, Isaiah 55:11. Praise the Lord!!!
