When things get tough, leaning on God's guidance is like putting on a bulletproof vest against the enemy's messages. The enemy sends messages and bombards thoughts, but it's necessary to discern between friendly messages and those meant to destroy or discourage. Negative messages can weigh on the mind and spirit, but we are encouraged to close and lock the door to intrusive thoughts and distractions. Surrendering to the Lord brings love &Β  blessings.Β

Emails and messages, if not properly discerned, can open the door to negative thoughts and emotions. To prevent future attacks, Erin suggests "Peeking Out" but not opening the door to determine if something is worthy of praise or dwelling on.

So, let's focus on the good stuff, the honorable things, and let our hearts rest in the Lord. Not only does it bring us peace but also makes Him happy. It's a win-win! Remember, guard your heart and keep those negative thoughts at bay. When the enemy tries to mess with God's love, slam the door shut and focus on His love's power.

  1. Thank you Hope, yes sometimes it is definitely better to just peek out but not open the door because we can set ourselves up for unnecessary pain and frustration. I’ve used this principle previously a lot, whether it was attack in the form of an email or a WSP, I just peeked to see if its “friendly” or not. If it was not friendly, I deleted and ignored, that saved me a lot of negative emotions and heartbreaks and eventually it stopped.
And we definitely need our Husbands guidance to distinguish whether it’s an attack that will affect us negatively, or if it’s “safe” to open the door.
