Dear Bride, I pray that you will be filled with the peace, comfort and love of the Lord as you begin your restoration journey. That you will be able to find Him in the scriptures and testimonies you read on this site. It may seem like an impossible road lies ahead of you, but nothing for God is impossible so put your trust in Him.
Thank you for giving so much encouragement and hope through these free courses. I continue to read and reread the courses to help the words stick in my mind and heart. With your generosity I have been able to have a constant source of biblically based help that I can go to any time of the day. The free courses also helped me make the choice to purchase the electronic versions of Restore Your Marriage, Wise Woman and Workers@Home to read on my iPad. They also encouraged me to want the be encouraged videos so I purchased both classic and new and have watched them multiple times to gain encouragement.
I am now the sole caregiver to our special needs son who requires constant supervision, the online courses and electronic books have been the tools I’m using to keep learning and the videos to keep encouraged and sane. Even though I had purchased the printed copies of both the Restore Your Marriage and Wise Woman books early on and had read through each once, since the pandemic hit forcing my son to be home from school full time, I’ve had a hard time with the printed books and watching him. So having the electronic versions of each has been a blessing.
My earthly husband walked out after 26 yrs of marriage saying it would take a miracle for him to come back and he was planning to divorce me because “nothing would ever change.” Praise God I found my miracle worker’s words of wisdom to open my eyes and give me understanding about what really was happening and the changes started happening right away.
I am a stay at home mom without outside employment and my earthly husband controls our money. So after I purchased the Restore Your Marriage book online and my Heavenly Husband lead me here, I knew it was the hope I needed to move forward. Earthly husband isn’t home yet, but I trust my Heavenly Husband to bring him back when it’s the right time and His will. But more importantly I’m enjoying my return to my Heavenly Husband and the closeness we are experiencing that I haven’t had in many years.
Thank You Lord! I see now that this journey isn’t about what You took away, but what You are giving me. You are giving me the time to be with You and look to You for all my needs and help. To trust fully in You for this day’s “bread” and not worry about tomorrow. To return to Your loving arms and remember how it was to be there with my First Love, my Heavenly Husband, my sweet Lord. You are all I need and all I want and since I have You I have everything. Thank You for never leaving me or forsaking me even when I left You and wandered so far away. You were still waiting right there for me to turn back to You and give thanks. I love You! And now my joy is complete.
I purchased the Facing Divorce online book so I can read it on my iPad anytime I need reminding of the principles and have also read it here. The book is full of the scriptures that will help give encouragement and guidance when it comes to facing divorce. I’m currently separated but having the testimonies and understanding what might lie ahead for me that this course offers helped me not to fear when my earthly husband went forward with the PSA. I was able to sign the papers without fear and trust my Heavenly Husband to be my Husband and Helper for everything.
I didn’t think this book would apply to me, until it did and I was glad I had read it. And even if my earthly husband had not moved forward towards divorce, just knowing what God’s word says about divorce was helpful information.
