The Power of Listening

β€œWhoever has ears, let them hear.” M1115 NIV

My sweet friends I just come here to praise My Beloved because He teaches and changes our minds in supernatural ways!
In the ESP RMI Ministry, we are fellowshipping in an amazing book club twice a week! We are reading together the Wise Woman, and I must say it has been a blessing in my life to listen to my fellow brides reading out loud and absorbing, once again, what this course has for us!

Last week we read the amazing Chapter 13 "The Ministry of Reconciliation" and it was an eye-opener again, about the simple truth that we must learn to listen to everyone around us and lead them to Him, for love, healing, blessings, and peace!

And I was also reminded about the blessing we have with our fellowships! A few years ago when we started I was feeling a little bit scared to share what I was learning and where did He take me from! We were meeting for the first time with women that were in the same journey as me, but completely strangers!
When the first meeting was held, there was something special about these ladies – love oozed out of them, and for the first time in my life, I felt DEEPLY heard and seen. They let me share without interrupting or making me feel small. They didn’t β€œhijack” the conversation to make it about themselves or fake their interest in me.

I realize now, it was an appointed time, a season where The Lord used them to draw me to Him. It changed the course of my life.

Precious friend, I wonder if we realize just how rare and important it is to be that friend or mother who genuinely β€œhears”, and how much of an impact we make when we really listen. It’s life-altering because when one feels heard, one also feels deeply known and loved, and that opens up a whole new world.

Listening to hear should begin in our home and never end – without always having an answer, trying to control, or defend. Oh, this is hard, especially when we feel motives are wrong or misleading. The struggle is real, but it’s important to try to be sensitive and wise in our β€œhearing” and gain insight before speaking! Motives, strategies, and inner struggles become revealed through hearing – helping us encourage or unravel the tangle of lies our loved ones and other hurting ladies may believe.

My sweet bride, Our Beloved helps us hear because in Him we are deeply heard ourselves. We always have His ear, which creates this deeply β€œknown and seen” well we can draw from.

Oh, it may seem and feel we are plain, ordinary ladies, but we are not! We hold this God-given ability to be good listeners who alter lives at appointed times.

Try to fellowship with us and become a part of this amazing community of women helping other women to know the Love of their lives!

  1. Dear Isabella, sharing in this group is beautiful, and I feel accepted, and I can be myself in freedom. May the Lord continue to bless us and continue to bring more new Brides so that they may experience this love of Our Husband and that communion with other women who walk this Journey with Him, so that we may be part of the Abundant Life.
