Dear Brides, this chapter "Small as a man's fist" in the "Living the Abundant Life" book is really encouraging us to see all the small and sometimes unacknowledged miracles that our Heavenly Husband is performing in our lives to lead us to the biggest miracles that He wants for His Brides. He builds up our faith and changes us little by little to be able to receive and glorify Him when He sends the downpour of blessings on us!
This has renewed my mind in showing me that I need to acknowledge every single blessing in my life no matter how small and insignificant I think it is. He works on our hearts little by little giving us the faith and the strength that we need to endure and to believe that He is sending all of His blessings as we watch and obey. I have seen my Heavenly Husband really work like this in the area of my finances. Before I knew to only rely on my Heavenly Husband and before I lost my job with the pandemic, I would struggle trying to make ends meet. I worked at my job but I believe I tried working in my own strength to try to provide for myself and it always left me feeling tired and weary. Needless to say that i never really lacked because He is so good to me even when i failed to look solely to Him to provide.
When the pandemic started and I no longer worked and I learned to only ask my Heavenly Husband to provide for me, I could see that He was working and I felt that protection from Him as I trusted Him. I have been able to pay for my bills every month without working since then and i know that He will continue to provide even though sometimes i don't see how it will happen the following month, my job is just to have faith. I know that He will carry me through as I trust and wait and rely solely on Him. I want to have the faith that Elijah had as he saw all the miracles in his life no matter how small. Our Heavenly Husband is faithful and He loves to bless us but He also wants to change us and increase our faith so that He alone can be glorified when people witness the amazing blessings that He alone can give us. I would love people to see the faith that I have in my Heavenly Husband and the change in me through Him so that that could point them to my Lord and they could experience the love and blessings that only He could give! I want to live like that everyday and show people that if you have faith in the Lord and you love Him with all your heart, that they too can live that abundant life!
Dear Brides, Let your lives be changed by our Heavenly Husband. Have that faith that moves mountains and if you don't have it, ask Your Heavenly Husband for it because He is faithful and will give it to you. I know, believe me that it is not an easy thing to have faith but you must simply trust and know that He is changing you and has good plans for you. Everyday I try to ask for more and more faith. Ask Him to show you all the blessings He has already given you to remind you of who He is! Praise, worship and glorify Him for every single little detail in your life!
