Untill It Spills Over To Every Area Of Your Life

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." P3:5

Today these parts in Living Lesson 90 "Trust Training" stood out for me:

The only way to be able to trust GOD with the big things is to practice trusting Him in the small things...Β  But to fully trust, you need to practice trusting Him to the point that it literally spills over into every area of your life, and, for some of you, it is what you'll need to take you through the rest of your restoration journey.

What do I mean about trusting Him with small things? The incidentals, the day-to-day mundane decisions.

I never thought I can even trust the Lord with everyday things like what to wear or will I say it never occurred to me.

Just last week I told my Darling Lord that I have not enough clothes and that I don't know what to wear to work. Through the night when I woke up and started talking to my Darling Lord, He told me what to wear for work (it was a skirt and shirt that I had forgotten about). Not only did I receive a lot of compliments, you could also see that I had lost weight. I know this was just another reminder from Him, that I can trust Him to help me in any of my day-to-day decisions (yes even with the clothes I wear).

So precious woman I want to encourage you to trust our Beloved Lord with every decision, not only your marriage, but every last detail of your life, every concern. Maybe your spouse, your parents or maybe your children have disappointed you, but He will never ever disappoint you and that's a fact.

Precious woman I want to encourage you to practice trusting Him until it spills over into every area of your life.

  1. Thank you, precious Janine, for this reminder. Sometimes, I make decisions that, unfortunately, don’t lead to much. One morning, when I read a devotional with this verse, I had to readjust my way of doing things and ask Him, “What is Your plan for this morning?” I am always amazed by His plans, not mine. When I think of this journey, my dear Janine, I say to myself, “Wow, we have all made this journey to live this life, just leaning on Him.”

  2. I am also amazed by our Darling Lord’s plans precious Kateleen. For so long I tried to make my own plans, just to fail and sometimes I still do, but I am so grateful for His grace and love to lead me, showing me His plans are the best.

  3. Janine, unlike some human relationships, He will never disappoint. Thanks for the reminder that He is always trustworthy in every decision, even the small ones.

  4. Amen Janine πŸ€— l am definitely in trust training right now in a big way!!! its a good reminder for me to trust Him even with the mundane everyday things that l forget πŸ™πŸΌ yet l know how wonderfully HE works. There’s been times that l have even looked for keys and HE would show me where they were πŸ₯³

    1. Me too precious Atarah, I remember coming home from the Wise Women Retreat and not getting my keys and searching every where and not finding them, but the moment I sat down and gave over and asked Him He said to me look in the garage, a place I would have never looked, and there they were. It was also reminder to me and I am also in trust training right now, to look for another place or not, so I am also learning the super power of waiting.
