Weaknesses!

"Agree with your adversary quickly,Β while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison." Matthew 5:25-26

Lately I've been ministering to some women (amazing amazing) and I've kept arguing! Oh no. So I must brag about this weakness. I kept SG on why this kept happening, the flesh kept rising in both of us and it was not a glorious meeting. But He is so so faithful in showing me where I can do better.

He showed me that I am not agreeing with my adversary quickly AND that I am forgetting that none of my studying, early mornings, etc none of my own efforts has got me to the place of understanding. I could study every hour of the day and unless HE gave me the understanding, opening my eyes, I would know NOTHING!

So praises praises to the One who humbles us in the perfectly gentle yet powerful ways and loves me whether I am so "good" or on my harder days when I am a fussy girl. The love is beyond my comprehension on both days. It's always the same and it's what leads me from glory to glory.

So I go forward, knowing to agree quickly, rely on scripture alone, and knowing I am where He brought me. πŸ’•

  1. Thank you for sharing precious Rasa, I love how our Darling Lord teaches us so gently and apart from Him we really can’t do anything.

  2. Thank you, dear Rasa, just a few days ago I was faced with a situation where somebody was telling me all these things that is completely opposite of what we learn from His word, BUT what amazed me was how my Beloved kept my mouth closed. Previously I would have gotten into an argument about these things, creating a bad situation and maybe hurt feelings. Only afterwards, when I thought about what was said, I realized that it was Him that kept me from saying anything.

  3. So true my dear Rasa, our Beloved is taking us on a journey of humbleness, a road of peace and understanding. I used to be very argumentative but I learned, the hard way, that my actions speak louder and that only the Lord can open people’s hearts. Inviting Him to every gathering help us to touch people’s lives because He is there opening hearts. Thank you for sharing my dear πŸ’œ
