Dear Brides,ย I learned that God is not slack, He will make what you are asking in faith happen when the time is right. Keep your focus on Him all the time.
I have learned that unless you turn your heart to Our Heavenly Husband, He will turn your earthly spouse's heart away from you. You will continue to be an object of loathing to lovers and friends.
โShe looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idlenessโ Proverbs 31:27
I have been struggling against clutter, but I now know how to pray then let God lead me to declutter. Also, I have learned in Chapter 3 Making the Most of Your Steps "Clean Your โMessy Houseโ in Minutes!" that my house need not be untidy, I can clean it in a single sweep and I can bring up my daughters to do the same by teaching them what is wise...
โI will make a clean sweep of the house . . ."โ1 Kings 14:10
โTrain up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from itโ Proverbs 22:6
I will be teaching my daughters how to do a clean sweep and also how to keep their own spaces tidy. But most importantly how to be submissive to God and how to put Him first in all you do.
Let's pray: Dear Lord. Forgive me for not resisting temptation and doing what I want instead of what I know You want. Lord, I come to You on my knees begging You to renew a right spirit within me. Help me to not look at my circumstances but to stay focused on You. Love, I ask You to forgive me and to take me back. I also plead with You to show me Your face, I want to see You and hear You as clearly as I did before.
Proverbs 14:1 "Every wise woman buildeth her house, but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands."
This scripture is meaningful to me because I was foolish in that I didn't know how to be a wife and I conducted myself as a pharisee, always being good on the outside but rotten on the inside.
