β Today's Promise: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

I would like to give my HH (Heavenly Husband) a shout of praise! My son passed the 2nd Term of Grade 2!
This may not sound like much, I mean he passed the 2nd term, not the Grade... We must praise the Lord for the big and the small things, for everything, praise moves mountains!! \o/
If you have read any of my previous praise reports or you have been attending our Fellowships you may have heard me sharing about my son who has been struggling in school since Grade R. My son never went to daycare because I became a Worker@Home. Last year I was asked by his teacher if I would be ok with him repeating Grade 1? Honestly? No I could not accept it at the time and I prayed and trusted and stood on the word of God and my son passed Grade 1.
Fast forward to this year, Grade 2, and my son failed Term 1 and again we were called into a parent/teacher meeting... I was upset, I was worried for my son going to school everyday not understanding or being able to do his schoolwork, I wanted him to go back to Grade 1...
I am ashamed to confess that I got upset with Kevin because he told me to attend but I told him he also needs to attend... I should have just accepted and gone with my HH (Heavenly Husband)... In the end Kevin told me that if our son needed to repeat then so be it, it did not make sense for our son to go back to Grade 1 when he already is in Grade 2... and my wonderful HH worked in my heart and gave me so much peace and I accepted it too! That if my son needed to continue through the year to repeat, then so be it. His will be done!
And yet my HH (Heavenly Husband) is so good because my son came home with a report that said He passed!! Here is the scripture my HH gave me that spoke to my heart and gave me so much JOY!!
"For the LORD is good; His mercy and lovingkindness are everlasting, His faithfulness [endures] to all generations." Psalm 100:5
It is so important for us to continually give our HH our worries and burdens. Sometimes we find that we worry, we have all sorts of thoughts and doubts, and yes! The battle is in our minds, in our thoughts! We end up feeling down, depressed and we cannot understand what happened to our JOY? Where did it go? Why are we not happy? Why are we not waking up with a smile on our face and in our hearts?
It's because we allow ourselves to become burdened, my HH (Heavenly Husband) has been speaking to me about so many many things besides what I am sharing in this praise report... that I allowed myself to become burdened! How and Why? Because I have not given HIM my burdens. I have not laid it down at HIS feet. I stopped being His Bride...
Surrender to our HH is a daily, hour by hour, minute by minute thing. We are doing ourselves a great disservice if we forget that we have a HH that loves us with deep affection.
"Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection]." 1 Peter 5:7
Believe me when I say that I am not only writing this as a Praise to my HH (Heavenly Husband) but in the process I am encouraging myself as well and hopefully you dear Bride reading this!!
Whenever you feel like I did, down, like your joy was stolen from you then be sure to ask your HH to give you a word, a scripture and I KNOW for sure that He will bless you with a scripture just for you!!
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
These scriptures that I shared I am quite sure you know them, I know because I know them too. What we need to do is allow them to sink into our hearts and minds and memorize and continually confess them and then our JOY will be complete in HIM!!
