Dear Bride, I know that sometimes storms come one after another, and we feel afraid. When you feel like this, just run faster and look for your Beloved, stick so close to Him, that fear goes away, and every word that causes you fear, is removed from your mind. The best medicine is to praise Him, to thank Him for everything, for every test, for that storm that looms over you, because then you will see His salvation in you.
Keep praising Him, and you will be filled with joy and peace, knowing that everything happens for your good, and that it is He who is in control.
Push away the thoughts of the enemy, and hug your Heavenly Husband so tightly that you will be able to sleep in the middle of the storm.https://loveatlast.org/living-lessons/week-68-praise-in-the-storms/
Thank you for sharing precious Liza and reminding us. I have seen in my own life when a storm comes and I replay it over in my head and ponder on it, I just end up feeling worse and filled with fear, but when I praise our Darling Lord, I experience His peace that surpasses all understanding.
I love this part out of the book Prison to Praise ( https://encouragingbookstore.com/recommended-reading/ )
“The enemy’s arrows just can’t penetrate the joy of someone who is praising the Lord. In II Chronicles 20 we read how a whole army was defeated when the Israelites simply praised the Lord and believed Him when He said that the battle wasn’t theirs, but His.
The message is just as clear today. The battle isn’t ours; it is God’s. While we praise Him, He sends our enemies scurrying.”
Yes!! Praising Him in the middle of the storm is a beautiful thing. It’s like an exchange happens. My fears and worries are exchanged with His peace, His love and His joy once again.
